Seems like second floor balconies are bigger. Floors 3 abd 4 hemmed in with smaller patios? Is that right? Just looking at photos???? Help!

I've stayed at BCV many, many times and still can't figure out balcony size. I've had huge balconies on the fourth floor (like I could have a party and invite 30 of my closest friends), and tiny balconies on the fourth floor (like good thing I was solo). Had the same situation on the other floors. Had a 1 BR with two separate, tiny balconies, second floor, then a few days later when DH left, I moved to a studio, same floor, with a balcony much bigger than the previous two balconies put together. Just ask for "large balcony"-I never have, but maybe it helps.

Yes a better chance on 2nd floor. Think best chance of a larger 4th story balcony is center of building area where there is a 5th floor.

I think those are all one or two bedrooms. The studios on 5th floor are next to the elevators. So u r saying get second floor right?

With the appealing design its bit random though on balconies, but yes pool side larger villas are at center but if on wood side bit more studios in that area. For example dedicated studio 431 is at that design of building. Otherwise best chance with building design is 2nd floor with more larger balconies. I believe 463 a lock off studio has a really long balcony (but closer to the adjacent roadway).

4th floor full size studio balconies on woods/Epcot side should be: (H.A. 425) dedicated 431,455,461. Lock offs 427, 459, 463.

3rd floor is super tricky. On pool side at the gazebo look design inner corners are the full balcony studios. Should be dedicated 316 and lock off 360.

Here is the interesting top 5th floor design. That same gazebo look inner corners pool side. Has the fuller studio balconies. Should be (H.A. Lock off 528) dedicated 516, 566 and lock off 560.

Fun thing about the beautiful BCV is it’s like opening a mystery pin pack on balconies. Toss in the requests and see what magic is received. Have a great trip.

Lately, the most ultimate size studio balcony could be 455. Search utube “Disney beach club 455”. 😃

I wouldn't get to hung up on balcony size at BCV's. There is no rhyme or reason to what size balcony you will get with any given unit. The sizes are all exterior design driven. I've been in 2 bdrms with two small balcony's and studio's with a huge balcony. Also, BCV's is almost always at 100 percent capacity, there is very little wiggle room to get what you "want" as its usually already filled.

thanks for all the info everyone. I really appreciate all the room numbers i will look them all up on room finder;)

I had that studio once (that was the one where I mentioned having a party with 30 friends), but I'd never recommend it. Because of the road noise, I didn't use the balcony much. But if I lived in a city apartment, used to road noise, instead of the country, maybe it would have been fine.

This is hilarious!! I had no idea how different the balconies could be there! We just came back from a stay on the 4th floor, pool side, very near the laundry room, & had what I consider the “standard-size balcony” for DVC studios 😉

Instead of adjoining rooms with my sister, we had adjoining balconies (ie. partition instead of wall)... and we talked to each other over it all the time. Totally cracked me up & reminded me of the never-seen-neighbor from Home Improvement 😆😂

I looked up all the rooms suggested. Most of the studios are close to the elevator bays. So noisy. I'm going 212 pool view that should have a bigger balcony......most of the studios are near elevators....... unless anyone has some ideas????

This may help others. The rooms close to elevators are : 425, 461,528,516,566,560. Street noise 455 as those rooms on that side have road noise.....probably great fireworks but that doesn't matter now since there are not any. hope this helps y'all

Just checking. Don’t think there is a 212. That’s the two story lounge area and only has a 312 and a 412.
