Which do you prefer and why. which would you recomend. We are going, my entire family in April of 08. we decided to stay at one of these places. but I am having a hard time figureing out which one is better.
I have read great things abou the beach club pool but that the rooms in the villas are dirty. Is that true?

we will have 2 small children ages 4 adn 2 with us. plus one MIL and two other grandparents plus another set of parents and their 2 small kids.

please help

We stayed in the BWI last January and my parents had a studio at the Broadwalk Villas. There studio looked very and they were very happy with their room. We loved the BW in general. There was a lot to do after parks closed. The Beach Club has Stromalong Bay, which I have heard is wonderful. They both are close to each other. This trip we are doing 10 days at the BCV and 3 days at BWV.

Whatever you decide I am sure you will have a blast!! :cool1:

No, the rooms are not dirty. We just stayed in the BCV in June and they looked better than ever. Are you a DVC member? If you are and these are not your home resort, you need to be ready to call exacty at 7 months to get these. Unless you are staying late in April, then it might not be as difficult.

They both are excellent. The rooms at both are clean and the hotel services are excellent. I think the food at the little market at BC is convenient to the rooms and offers some great grab n go. It seems to be harder to get food at BW, as you have to hit the boards to get some grub.

The pool at BC is awesome, but I was always so worried about my keeping an eye on all of my kids, I wasn't able to enjoy it much. If you are going w/small kids that pool could make you crazy -- it is meandering and divided by the path around the lake and just too much pool for supervising small kids, even though it has an awesome sandy bottom, beach and sandbars to play on!

I think I would go w/Boardwalk as the kiddie pool, main pool and playground areas are compact and you can see all areas from one spot, whereas at BC you are always doing a head count. It will probably be more crowded at BC in April, so I would skip that too. To make the food situation more convenient, consider ordering groceries delivered to your villa for drinks/snacks/breakfast. If you can get a Boardwalk view, you will be dazzled!

Have a great trip.
