Beach Club villas need a refurb..FAST...

What channels did you go through to make this request? We rented DVC points and are staying at BCV May 27-31. Of course we would love a renovated room; we don't have any other requests. Can we make this request or does the DVC owner we rented from need to do this for us? I would hate to bother her if we can do it ourselves...

There is a place on the Member's website to send e-mails and ask questions....smjj

Chances are that they are not members and cannot access the member's site.

If they are renting DVC points they do not have control over their reservation. They will have to contact the owner they are renting from to make those requests for them.

Good news....below is report from this years DVC annual meeting held this month.

REFURBISHMENTS

Disney Vacation Club resorts utilize two refurbishment concepts in updating its villas. A "soft goods" refurbishment typically involves replacement of linens, draperies, wall coverings and floor coverings. "Hard goods" refurbishment expands to include select furniture and fixtures throughout the villas.

In 2015, Disney's Beach Club Villas will undergo a hard goods refurbishment. In addition to updates to most soft goods, the Beach Club refurb will bring the addition of the 5th sleeper to all Deluxe Studio villas and new faucets. Work is expected to begin in March 2015.

I wish the 5th sleeper would be added to the one bedroom villas as well. So convenient to have that at BLT.
