We recdntly just spent our first week home at BCV. We were in room 227-229 2 bedroom lock off and the location was fantastic. We were very close to the main elevator, the villas pool and the main resort. In our request we asked for anything but the first floor, near the main elevator and pool view. We got the first 2 but not the pool view. Our view was of the woods and walking path which was fine. in reading some post here I saw complaints by some that the villas seemed far from SAB, etc. but we had not problem with our location. Just a note-we had a nice sized balcony but a significant number of the rooms at BCV have small or no balcony's. We like the balcony to sit out after the kids are in bed and have a glass of wine.

Are you sure about the "small or no balcony" statement? All BCV villas have a balcony or a patio. It's the BC itself that has those small balconies.

our room had on large balcony that extended across the entire one bedroom villa and the lock off studio had a balcony that was divided from the one bedroom by a wall. On some floors there were a lot of windows where our villa had 3 sliding doors. It is possible that each villa has at least one very small balcony but clearly there is great variation in size of the balcony's. From the outside of the builing it appears they did this for looks.

I agree, all BCV rooms have the standard size balcony (or patio), but there are some rooms on the 2nd floor (and a few other higher floors) that have the "supersize" balconies. I've gotten the normal ones, but have also been blessed with the complete length of our unit balcony too (2nd floor, 2 bedroom). The inside corner rooms also have the larger odd shape balconies. Over at the BC they have the lean-out balconies on some of their rooms. When staying at the BCV I generally request 2nd floor to try to get a larger balcony because sitting outside on the balcony is high on my request list.
