Beach Club Villas Concerns

It sounds as if you were in an accessible studio with a tub rather than a roll in shower. Most BCV studios have the sink ouside the bathroom.

That would explain the open area. It had a slide door, and a large amount of room between the sink and the toilet, and now that I remember there were support bars around the tub. It was room 425, right by the elevators.

Still, the stuff they pulled out of the tub drain, and still hadn't cleared it...it was like Chewbacca was there before us... :scared1:

You know we have had more small issues in accessible rooms in the regular resorts...GF and Polynesian. Burned out lights, a missing lamp:eek: (that one was at BCV though), clogged drains, etc.. WDW is good about attending to any issues in a very timely manner but I always wonder why the guests before us hadn't reported them.

Sometimes I think that people in wheelchairs have so many larger problems to deal with that they don't sweat the little stuff. That seems to be true of our daughter as well.

I've stayed there many times as you can see from my sig, I have never had an issue with cleanliness of any rooms I have stayed in, nor any major issues of any kind for that matter.

IMHO it is by far the best of all the DVC resorts that I have stayed in so far.

The only complaint I might have is getting the room/view I want because it's always at 98-99% capacity at any time of year, but I have a system that gets me what I want almost all the time.

I totally agree! We have been to the BCV several times on quick weekend stays and long 10-day stays and we have never had a problem with anything, let alone cleanliness.
