Beach club Villas/Boardwalk Villas

Going next September,with children and grandchildren. Looking to get a 2 br villa. I want to know if they give AP rates on these villas ,if so when would I know? I don't want to wait too long to book but I also don't want to spend almost $600.00 per night .
We need it for 6 nights,then we move out of the park for 3 nights at the Caribe Royale. To do Universal and Seaworld. Any help is appreciated. Also , if I can't get AP rates should I rejoin DC just to get a discount??

AP discounts are rare at BWV and will probably be rare at BCV as it sells out to DVC members. BWV is already sold out to DVC and BCV is about 50% sold. When a DVC resort sells out, there are very few rooms available for non-members, the members control most rooms.

Your best bet would be to rent points from a member:

Poorman - definitely check out the DVC Rent/Trade Boards. We just returned from a week at OKW w/ rented pts. We had no problem w/ the person we rented from. We were considered their guests - not renters & got all the same perks as a DVC member.

Of course, we liked it so much we are now in the process of buying a resale at OKW.
