Beach Club Villa Views?

My wife and I are staying at BCV in January...I asked our travel agent about the room views, because I had heard there were some rooms with views of EPCOT. She indicated the trees have grown in and Soarin' has been added, and there aren't really any views left. Anyone know if this is true?

There really aren't any "views" from the BC villas. The last time we stayed there we requested a room over looking the quiet pool and we ended up geing granted our request. We were on the first floor and could walk out our slider to the pool which was great with teen aged kids. I think if you are up on the top floor you may get some limited views of the Epcot buildings but nothing fantastic. We were on the top floor once and just over looked woods. Truly, when we are at Disney, we don't spend a whole lot of time in the rooms and tend to be on the go constantly so it doesn't really matter a whole lot to us. Good luck. We absolutely love the Beach Club!

The views at BCV aren't great. If you want a fireworks view/view of Epcot, it's usually just off woods and/or parking lot and you might see it in the background. What I requested was a larger balcony on a higher floor and got a HUGE balcony overlooking the quiet pool. Some balconies are tiny at BCV and I wanted a good balcony and we were able to put our double stroller on it.

I think this is very accurate.
2 weeks ago we had a "Woods View" and could see the high fireworks from Epcot.
There are no great views from BCv, but all rooms are great:cool1:

I stay at the BCV almost all trips anymore..The views are NOT the reason to stay here.It is a beautiful resort, but the views are meh..The views are of the quiet pool, the Beach Club resort driveway and woods( Epcot is behind the woods and you can see SOME of Illuminations, not all)

We stayed att he BCVs in Aug for the first time (usually stay at the BWVs but weren't available). We requested a pool view since we had heard on these boards that the views were that great. We were in a dedicated 2 bedroom (354) and had a great view of the pool. We had full balconies so that we could sit out at night if we wanted to. The only ones I would not want would to be on the first level facing the woods/Epcot since you would have people walking past your sliders/windows at all times. Have to say the villa was really nice (hallways need updating and well as appliances since our washer/dryer actually leaked when being used) but we prefer the views at the BWVs much more.

We have had a few good views from our BCV balcony. These are of course zoomed in. Not many available though so like others-pure luck of the draw, we usually just take the pool view.
