Thinking about adding a day at the Beach Club Villas so my nephew can take advantage of the Stormalong Bay pool. Check in is not until 4pm but can we go to the pool the morning of check-in ? Does the resort provide you with anything to gain entrance to the pool until you obtain you Room cards?

Thanks

You can (and should if you want to use the pool) check in early in the morning. They will give you a room key which will give you access to the pool and then you can call back later in the day to find out if your room is available and what room number you have (that is if it is not ready in the morning).

remember to place your swimsuits in your carryon.... Otherwise, you'll need to rummage through your bags during check-in.

Also, I'm not sure how BCV works. But, at BWV, bell services takes your bags when you arrive. We ususually don't see them again until they are delivered to the room.

And there are nice large bathrooms for changing just past Beaches and Cream and the Arcade.

FYI: If you ever DO need to get something you left in a bag with bell services, just go to the bell services desk and ask. They will take you back to your bags so you can get whatever you need. Can you tell I've had to do this before? :teeth:

Enjoy SAB!

Yes you can and it's a good move. Our room was not ready till 4:10 and we were not ready..........This time

Not to hi-jack your thread but I have a check in question also...

We will be arriving on Sat Jan 29th around 1pm what are our chances of checking into our 2 studios??? Of course we could kill some time at Beaches & Cream while we wait...maybe we dont want to check in early after all!!! :earboy2:

You can check-in any time during the day you are scheduled to arrive. If you are asking the chances of actually getting into the room right away, that is totally unknown. It all depends on whether the rooms have been pre-assigned and, if so, whether your rooms are clean and ready for occupancy.

I'd say the fact that you are checking in on a Saturday does help your cause. Many members will check-out on Friday (due to the high weekend points), meaning that your assigned rooms may even sit unoccupied on Friday night.

Honestly you won't know until you arrive at the desk.

Yes! We did this on our trip last month! Our room was not ready until 3:55, so don't count on being able to get into your room before 4 o'clock. We had a fabulous view though, so it was worth the wait. And it turned out that it was great weather that afternoon for the kids to splash in the pool.
