Beach Club Villa and AAA discount

Has anyone gotten the AAA discount on a two-bedroom villa during value season? And if so, was it 20% or 15%?

Might even be a long shot to get a two bedroom villa via CRO instead of through DVC points. It's a pretty small resort, DVC-wise, and 95% of the villas are reserved on DVC points.

I made my cash ressie for a 2bdr at BCV back on January 1st. We are going the last week of September. I was told that there was no AAA discount available. I was told this by both the Disney reservation CM and by a AAA travel agent. In fact, I made the reservation through Disney first (and was told there was no AAA discount), and the next day (Jan 2) thought to call AAA directly and ask about a discount and they said that there were no 2bdr units left - one day later!!! If someone is able to get a AAA discount, I'd love to know for future reference.

Deb & Bill : Do you think I would be better off going over to the DVC board to see if I could buy someone's points? I've never done it, and it scares me a little! LOL!

It takes a lot of trust. Check out the FAQS and find someone with a lot of posts and get a comfort level with the person. Talk to them on the phone. Talk to one of their other renters.
