I'm curious if anyone can help shed some light on approximate travel times to and from the following places. I just have no idea what to expect because I've never been there, I'm going at a busy time (Spring Break) and I've heard everything from "plan 90-120 minutes to go from any point A to point B via bus" to "always use uber" to "use Minnie Vans because they have special drop off points" to "just rent your own car". I know it's a long list but any help would be appreciated so I can at least have a vague idea of how much time to allot to travel during our trip. Thanks!

Beach Club to Disney Springs via Bus or Rideshare.

Beach Club to Magic Kingdom via Bus and Minnie Van. Does the bus drop you at MK or at TTC? Do Minnie Vans drop directly at MK?

Beach Club to DHS via Skyliner or Boat.

Beach Club to Animal Kingdom via Bus or Rideshare.

Beach Club to Hoop Dee Doo via Bus, Rideshare, and Minnie Van. I understand Bus and Rideshare will drop us at the main Fort Wilderness entrance and we'll need to take more busses/shuttles to get to Pioneer Hall, but Minnie Van can drop you off right at Pioneer Hall, is that still the case?

MK to Poly via Monorail.

TTC to Epcot via Monorail.

Walk from Epcot Main Entrance to International Gateway.

Magic Kingdom to Contemporary via Walk or Monorail.

Animal Kingdom to Epcot via Bus or Rideshare.

Hi, I don't know have all that information myself but touring plans at the very end of their Beach Club page have an estimate of the commuting times to the parks and Disney Springs with all the different transportion options. https://touringplans.com/walt-disney-world/hotels/disneys-beach-club-resort

I do know that buses and Minnie Van drop you off directly at MK but normal rideshares drop you off at the TTC.

Hope this helps!

I would not take the Skyliner to DHS. You have to walk to Epcot IG (Skyliner station is outside IG) then take the Epcot Skyliner to Caribbean Beach. It slow down at Riviera to let people off on . Then transfer to Hollywood line at CBR. The boat or the walking path by the boardwalk is probably quicker. A lot of things depends on when you get to boat dock/bus stop and if the boat or bus just left then you have to wait for next one which could be 20 minutes or so. The MDE will show bus times in the app for your hotel.

The only real difference from Bus or Ride Share will be wait time and no one can guarantee that. Depending on when the last bus left, it could be anywhere from walk up and bus is there to 20-30 minute wait plus drive time. Drive times should all be within 10-20 minutes depending on traffic; Disney Springs will probably be the closest drive, with the rest being about 5-8 miles away. Unless I have a time crunch, I tend to take the bus to the parks and Disney Springs. If I am in a time crunch, I do Minnie Van for MK and Ride Share for the other parks.

*Buses from Disney owned resorts drop off at right outside of MK's entrance along with MinnieVans. Ride Shares drop at TTC.
*For Hoop-Dee-Doo (HDDR) the MinnieVan does drop off very close to Pioneer Hall.
MK to Poly via Monorail.

TTC to Epcot via Monorail.

Magic Kingdom to Contemporary via Walk or Monorail.

Resort Monorail loop takes about 25-30 minutes and goes in this order: MK - Contemporary - TTC - Poly - Grand Floridian

Monorail between Epcot and TTC is about 15 minutes each way.

Wait times for any of these various based on how many monorails are running. I mostly walk between MK and Contemporary. This past May, my mom and I walked and my dad and sister to the monorail. We were there about 10 minutes before them due to issues with the monorail line. From MK to Poly, I would usually take the boat unless I just wanted to ride the monorail.

Beach Club to DHS via Skyliner or Boat.

Walk from Epcot Main Entrance to International Gateway.

The walk from Epcot Main Gate to International Gateway (IG) is going to depend on if you get side tracked along the way and which route you take, but I would guess about 15-25 minutes depending on pace.

Beach Club to DHS: I would do the boat as it will only stop at the Swan/Dolphin before going to DHS. In fact if I leave Epcot IG and head to DHS, and the boat is just taking off from Epcot, I walk to the Beach Club. I would probably only do the Skyliner if I just wanted to ride.

Additional Note: Epcot/DHS Boat Route: DHS->Swan/Dolphin->Beach/Yacht Club->Boardwalk->Epcot IG and then the reverse goes the other way - Epcot IG->Boardwalk->Beach/Yacht Club->Swan/Dolphin->DHS. You will know the people that know this because they will get off at the Beach/Yacht Club and walk to the IG instead of taking the boat the additional stop.

I mostly agree with above poster. These days, we often drive our own car rather than taking the bus. It is almost always faster.

You can get most of the info you are asking from Google Maps, at least a general sense of what it is supposed to take. Reality may be different if a WDW bus does not show.

For years we took the buses, and we got tired of waiting on transportation that did not show. We can say, usually the bus arrives in 20 minutes, but sometimes it is longer, and that 'sometimes longer' now costs $ at WDW. If I am planning to hit rope drop, and i can make via my own car, I don't want to be 20minute late because a bus did not show.

IMO, the Minnie vans are cute, but rather overpriced.

another bonus of a car is that we keep jackets handy, and can make a last-minute decision to add/remove one or to grab a few extra waters.

TTC to Epcot can be rather variable. Monorails to from TTC to MK are more frequent.

Also with WDW transportation, if you try to travel at WDW rush hour, you may well have to wait for the second bus because the first was full. that is part of why it can take up to 2 hours to get where you want to go.

With our own car, we go from any WDW hotel to DS, Epcot, and HS in 10-15minutes. MK is a little longer dur to having to go through the TTC.

We do take monrail loop for monorail resorts, or walk. Between most of HS/BWk/Epcot.BC/YC/Swan/Dolphin we usually walk and beat the boat. If you are going to/from HS then it is a little more of a toss up. It is a fairly long walk, so sometimes boat is easier. Not always faster, but usually easier.

I have not been to Hoop in some years. Ft. Wilderness is big. By bus is a royal pain because you can't go directly there from YC. Google Maps can spell out the options.

Last, keep in mind lightning stops WDW boats and I think Skyliner. Even if no active lightning, if it is in the area, they stop. Fog also stops the boats.
