Has anyone slept on the Beach Club Villas Sofa beds? We are looking at a 2 bedroom villa for 4 people but needing 3 beds. All 4 are adults so I was wondering if people thought the Sofa Beds would be comfortable enough to sleep on etc?

From what I see there are 2 beds (1 in each room) a sofa bed in the lounge and a sofa bed in one of the bedrooms... is this correct?

At the BCV there is an option for the second bedroom to have two queen beds. It's a booking category. We stayed in one in June...but we had 9 people, so hubby and I took the living room pull out. We slept fine, there were no issues. We were there four nights. We used the storage space in the living room for our clothes, the master closet for hanging stuff, and the master had two sinks so we allocated one for us. The toilet was in a separate room in the master, and we closed off the door between master and bath so as not to wake daughter and two kids who were sleeping in the master. Loved it! Would've loved a full balcony, but oh well...didn't spend any time on it anyway.

Make sure when you book you select that option if available. I think there are only 17 units with two queen beds in the second bedroom. It's a booking category and not a request.

Depending on when you want to travel, the 2 beds in the second BR category sometimes have a tendency to be booked rather quickly. I would make my reservations as soon as you are able if you prefer this category. Also, there are no rooms like this on the first floor if that is something you would "request". These rooms are mainly located on the third floor. I think there are about 24 total.

To answer your question, if you are not able to book one of the limited 2 br with 2 Queens, you are correct. The sleeping arrangements will be a King in the Master, a Queen and a Double sleeper in the 2nd bedroom and a Queen sleeper in the Living Room.
I have not slept on the sleeper in the BR, but in the recent past DH, Adult DS and I were in a 1 BR. Adult DS slept on the Living room sleeper and he said it was very comfortable.
Good Luck

I have no experience with the sofa beds at the Beach Club BUT I have a friend who travels with an "egg crate" type of foam padding when she knows there will be a sofa bed in their accommodations. She packs it in a Space Bag and it takes up little space. If the sofa bed is comfortable and she doesn't use the egg crate, she takes it back home. If she needs the egg crate and can't "re-suction" the packing to make it fit into her suitcase, she leaves it behind. She purchases these at Goodwill so they are cheap and she doesn't mind abandoning it. Not sure you will need an egg crate foam- sounds as if the sofa beds are fine- but thought I'd pass along the idea. We are staying at the BWV in a studio, so I've had the same questions about the sofa bed.
