Beach Club Silly Question

I'm getting excited about my trip in November. I know that they remodeled the rooms since I was there in December 2001. I guess the rooms are in yellow now. Did they change the color of the carpets in the hallways too? I s the lobby in different colors? Silly to ask. I'm just curious. I miss the place.

We were in the lobby of the Beach Club in May and it look as beautiful as ever.. no changes.

7/2 - 7/10 and we hadn't stayed there since 2001 either. The rooms have changed since then, but I wouldn't say they remodeled them to "yellow." The carpets were new in the rooms and the hallway. The wallpaper, the beds, furniture...everything was new. Even the comforters. It's much lighter and airier - and fresher. We absolutely were blown away.

Thanks Pamnc! I was trying to go by the pictures on the web site. It looked yellow to me in that picture. The rooms really look pretty. I can't wait to go. I know there are so many changes since I've been there. Thanks again

The lobby is scheduled for a redo of the soft goods, rugs, furniture, curtains, etc. this fall so it is possible that by your visit the lobby will be redone.

They are adding a new feature I think will be a very pleasant visual centerpiece for the lobby.

I would like to leave it a surprise for everyone, but it will be a nice addition and definitely fit in with the beach theme.

The lobby refurb is exciting news! Can't wait to see what the centerpiece will be...

That are the plans. However as experienced at the Polynesian these things can change overnight. You can have delays in the delivery of the product, worker delays, changes in the design, etc. So while the plan is to have it finished long before December, this could change.

Since this is not a construction project, just a decorating change there will be no bother to any guests during the change. Most will probably be done during the evening hours and one will simply wake up to a different lobby each morning.

My brother's family's first visit will be this Christmas break - I won't hesitate to recommend the BC for their stay.

The lobby is so pretty now; I can hardly wait to see it after the refresh/redo!
