I am trying to think of unique souvenirs to take home that I could display in my home to remind us of our trip. . . would it be awful of me to snag a bit (not a lot) of sand from the BC beach or SAB to put in a small crystal container to display? I am I being rude and awful??? I would just take a snack size ziploc to put some in.

Im sure you wouldnt be the first to take a bit of sand. I always take sand from every beach I go on. So as far as a moral issue Im no help!:confused3 Sorry Have a great trip!Nettii:goodvibes

I wouldn't see any problem with taking a little souvenir! I bet if you even asked, they would be OK with it.

Wew were there in January (loved loved loved it by the by), and I could have colected the sand from my DD's suit to display!!! I think collecting a bit "on purpose" would be fine. Our "accidental collection" was substantial!!!

planning on doing this in April
it will be shelved with my castaway cay and cozumel sand bottles too (baby food jars work good)
