Beach Club Rooms

We will be staying at the Beach Club next week and I am wondering if I should request a renovated room or have all the rooms at the resort been redone? We were there last year and although we love the resort it definately updating. If anyone can let me know the status I would really appreciate it. Thanks

We were there end of April until May 10th-they were just starting some of the renos around the quiet pool and the cannae court area. I haven't been able to get an idea of how far they are or when they will be complete. To answer your question, I would ask for a recently refurbed room since not all were complete a month ago.

I was in a renovated room. They are beautiful. We had requested a full balcony close to the lobby but since those rooms were being renovated they could not accomodate our requests. Instead we got first floor with a sliding door to a patio with a table and two chairs overlooking a garden and walkway next the BCV. Only a 5 min walk to Epcot and to Boardwalk (a little further to SAB and BC/YC restaurants). We were quite happy and the room was fresh and clean and our mousekeeper was awesome for all 11 days.

I stayed at the BC last year and definitely thought that the rooms needed a little updating. We are staying at the YC this year and I was wondering if these rooms have be updated?

We are heading to the Beach Club on Thursday!!!! Yeah!!!! I just talked to concierge the other day, and they told me that all BC rooms have finished being refurbed..........also all YC rooms have been recently refurbished. They did say they were still doing some work around the quiet pool at the BC.
