Beach club room refurbishment

I've had two friends recently return from staying there and both commented on the rooms looking so tired and said several CMs mentioned rooms would be updated soon. Anyone hear this?

We just back 2 weeks ago & our room was fine no issues. We did notice that they had started placing carpeting in the hallways on a different floor.

They updated the rooms just a couple of years ago. I doubt it would be anytime soon.

I just read on another thread that they will begin a refurb on all the regular rooms at the Beach Club starting in October.

I thought the rooms has already been refurbed but the carpets, hallways, etc....would be redone in Oct.

I believe it was 2009 when the last refurb was done at BC. BC scheduled for this October and YC for next October.

My daughter's wedding was in Oct. 2009 and we stayed at the BC which had just been refurbished.
