Just got back from 7 nights at the BC (first time there) - we are very hard to please, have traveled quite a bit to nice resorts across the country. BC impressed!!! It felt like a new resort and the location was top notch. The rooms were very nice and the resort was quiet at night in the hallways so the kids slept soundly. Can hear the nightly Epcot fireworks pretty clearly in room at 9:00 though. Bathroom is the only downfall - so small you can barely squeeze in the room (very narrow btwn the door and the toilet). Food at the marketplace/hurricane hannah's (pool dining/bar) was great. Nightly smores on the beach at 5:30 p.m. Just a top notch, classy resort - will stay no other place again!! And I was a Poly fan...we went to Poly for luau and there is NO comparison. Poly seems so dated (and I don't mind the dark colors of the Poly) - the elevators, everything there was just ugh. Pools are no comparison. Pool bars no comparison. And you can just walk into the Poly pool whereas BC you have to have your room key so not open to general public.

Glad you had a great trip! Sounds like you found a new favorite! We still like the Poly as well, but the YC/BC are really great resorts with Stormalong Bay and the easy walk to Epcot! Had a great stay there last summer and the resort was as great as ever. :goodvibes

Thanks for the review! We are staying there later this year for the first time, and we just can't wait.

Thanks so much for the review! We are staying at the YC in August and I'm soooo counting the days!

Stayed at the BC in December and also loved the resort. The only thing I would disagree with was I thought the food at the Marketplace and Hurricane Hannah's was near awful.

We love the Beach Club:) I can't imagine staying anywhere else! Location is amazing and it feels like home when you are there!

We leave in one week for our first BC visit, very excited about this!

Glad to hear. We'll be trying the BC for the first time in May. I've never stayed at the Poly but have visited on every trip, and I just don't see what the big appeal is. It does seem very dated and drab. For me, staying at the Poly would only be for the convenience of the monorail.

We stayed at the Beach Club for the first time last year, and I have to admit: it's going to take some doing to get me to stay elsewhere. (So PLEASE, Disney, I need a deal for summer 2014!!!)

Glad you had a great stay. The BC is a beautiful resort. The Poly is our favorite, but we did enjoy our BC stay. You really can't beat being within walking distance to Epcot and DHS.

We are staying at the BC for the first time this May. We will be there for 2 weeks so I hope we love it as much as you do. We usually stay at the BW so I know we will love the location.

Thanks for the review:thumbsup2

Although we've stayed at alot of other resorts and like most of them very much, Y& BC always feels like my home resort.

Can't wait to be back in Sept!;)

Thanks for the review. We are staying the for the first time in August...the days cannot go by fast enough!

glad you enjoyed BC! We love it too. They are now renovating Poly, so will be interesting to see what they've done.

They just re-opened Hurricane Hannahs and the new menu looks great. Lots of raves about the Lobster Roll.

Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed the resort. We're staying at YC for the first time in August, cannot wait! :yay:

Appreciate your positive review of the BC and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We stayed there last summer and thought it was a very nice resort. Not sure why you felt the need to bash the Poly during your BC review though. Maybe you should have titled your thread "Beach Club Review/Poly Bash".
