We've just got back from our first trip and it looks like we've just missed any offers for next year. While there we had a quick look around the Disney resorts (we stayed off site this time) and the Beach Club was the only one that we really liked.

We're hopefully looking to stay there next year, but I'm assuming that the prices showing now are rack rate with free dining just ending? If that is the case, when should I be booking to get the best price for October/November 2014, or have I missed out totally for 2014?

Beach Club wasn't discounted but did offer the free dining.

You best price for next year will be to wait and see if they offer a room Discount early in the new year which they have done before otherwise consider booking through WDW US as they will have discounts it will just be closer to travel (3-6 months before typically).

If you do want to book through WDW US I would recommend using a US TA. We have used Dream Unlimited several times. It means you can communicate through email and they will also automatically apply any available discounts for your dates :thumbsup2

We booked 8 nights at YC for next sept with free dining and tickets for £2,500. Expedia had hotel only for around £1,900 so unless it comes down, it's pretty expensive.

Free dining is gone now, but there may be offers through a USA TA as they're released much closer.

I think waiting 3-6 months before travel for a discount would be a bit too nerve racking for me. I'm gutted I've missed the free dining, not because I'm too bothered about having it, it's more the fact I don't fancy paying rack rate and getting less than people who've booked just one week before with their dining included.

All though it isn't guaranteed I am sure free dining will come back. We booked April the last two years and got free dining. Just keep checking back for offers.

Im not sure free dining will be back for next year now, around april time they release the next years deals

You might get free dining from a us ta but that will be closer to your travel date

If you do get to stay there I'm sure you will love it. We have stayed at CSR, GF, AKL and Beach and the Beach was definitely our favourite. Good luck getting a great price. :thumbsup2

Here's an option for a discounted room at the Beach Club Resort.

The current price's taken from the UK Disney web site for a week in November 2014 at the Beach Club; Garden View: £1,890.00, Water/Pool View: £2,240.00, Garden Club: £2,688.00, Standard Club View: £2,716.00 and Lagoon Club: £2,975.00.

Have you looked into renting a Disney Vacation Club room?

The number of points required for a week at the Beach Club in a deluxe studio is 107 while a 1-bed requires 211 points.

Most rental points range between £12 and $14 so if you used David's Rental's at $14 a point you might be able to book a room only studio for a week at $1,498, so just less than £1,000, that's a saving of around £900 a week.

For a little more luxury a one bed apartment would cost $2,954 so about £1,860, the same price as a garden view hotel room.

Hope you had a great first trip.........

I second this. Have rented a few times in the past and nearly all the deluxes have studios and one bedrooms. A great alternative if no free DDP or discounted rooms. Enjoy planning

I think we found a good price, so we've booked it. Virgin quoted well below anyone else for a standard room for the weeks we wanted, so we've booked a split stay with them. I couldn't justify the price for a full two weeks, so we're staying at the Hilton Bonnet creek the first week.

I tried, but it confused me. I don't think we've got a bad price going by the price we paid this year for two offsite hotels, but I'm clueless when it comes to Disney hotel prices so I could be paying way over. Virgin Holidays don't break the price down for you, so it's hard to tell.

With DVC point rental I think they are best for people who have travelled often as they are not as straight forward as booking a usual hotel.

As long as you are happy with the price that's all that matter :goodvibes
