We will be stopping in WDW on our way to Sanibel next July, so to keep with the theme of beaches we will be staying at the Beach Club. I do have a few questions though...

1) Does anybody have any reviews of the resort, or any experiences while staying there?

2) Does anybody have any pictures of the rooms they would be willing to share?

3) Is there a sofa sleeper or a day bed in the rooms? Can you request one?

Answers to any or all of these questions would be appreciated! :)

My DF and I stayed at the beach club May 5th to May 12th. We loved it there!!! We were upgraded to a water view which had a view of the boardwalk and the quiet pool. The walk to EPCOT can not be beat! you can also walk to DS. We tried to take the boat once but it was soooo slow! It def felt faster just to walk (but it is not the case ..the boat will get you there faster..but not that much;) ) If you are impatient (like i am) walk if you are tired i suggest take the boat.. We loved SAB! It was awesome we didnt like how the lounge chairs were right on top of one another but other than that we had no complaints..Cape May Cafe is great we did the character breakfast the food was good..We liked being able to grab a bit at the beach club marketplace...it was alot easier than when we had stayed at the boardwalk and had to grab something at the bakery...the lines for the buses were not bad at all..esp at the magic kingdom after wishes!!! the yacht and beach club had their own buses to go back to the resort..it had the shortest line and was the least chaotic of the rest of the bus stops..
The staff there was super nice and were very helpful!!

Im going back in May and Im staying there again!!..

As far as a daybed..our room did not have one...im pretty sure most of the rooms do..ours just had a desk just make sure you state a preference on your reservation before you get there..and then ask again when you get at the front desk..

enjoy!

Most rooms have daybeds at the BC so I would make sure to request it on your reservation. If you have 5 in your room, they are pretty good about assigning you a room with a daybed. You will love the resort and the whole EPCOT resort area! I'm not sure I will do this correctly, but I am going to copy a link to a website with several photos of the BC - http://allearsnet.com/acc/g_bc.htm

Also, somewhere on www.wdwinfo.com there are photos of the BC.
Enjoy your trip!

Be sure to request a full balcony if this is important to you. Some of the rooms have a small balcony, with standing room for one person.

I like the BC a lot, especially if I'm planning to spend a lot of time at Epcot. I don't like the gift shop as much since they turned it half into shop and half into a pseudo-restaurant/grocery. But when they put the BCV in they had to make the changes, and it's easy enough to walk over to the YC for a better selection of souvenirs. The Epcot resort area is great - there's always something going on.

I've had about 50/50 as far as getting a daybed in the room, but I haven't requested one because usually when I'm staying there I'm either on a solo trip or there are only two of us. The daybed is comfortable and about the size of a twin bed. It doesn't seem like the rooms without them are bigger, so I don't know if the rooms are slightly different sizes or what.

I think you will really enjoy the pool area, and it's nice to sit out on the beach at night and watch the Boardwalk light up.

One more question... how much does a Water View Concierge room cost? How much does a Water View room cost? :)

Hi
We were just there earlier in July, we had a wonderful trip and it's a great place to stay!

1) our experiences were all very positive from the CM's at the hotel, check-in, etc not a single problem with the hotel

2) try this thread...the first picture is just what our room looked like:

3) yes we had a daybed but a comfortable sized day bed in the room. You can request that in your room, you are guaranteed one if you have a party of 5.

Ask away several of us have been there recently

SAB the pool area was amazing and we used it daily!!
