Beach Club Pool Question

I will be checking in at BC next Saturday morning. around 9 or 10. I understand check in isnt until 3 and and they are very strict on showing a room key to enter the pool area. I want to use the pool all day...question is....will I be able to enter the pool area without having a room key even though I am a registered guest??
This is my first time so I am a Disney rookie.

First, you're going to LOVE the BC!

When you arrive you can check your bags with the valet, and go to teh desk to check in. They will give you your resort ID, which will give you access to SAB. There are changing facilities there, as well as lockers. I would suggest you pack the suits in a seperate small bag to make getting to them easier so you do'nt need to root through all yoru luggage when you arrive at the resort.
