Beach Club or Boardwalk?

We stayed at Beach Club and loved, does the Boardwalk have anything we are missing? Seems like farther to walk to EPCOT but more food options??.

The food options are all outside which can be problematic if it's raining, IMHO. I love the atmosphere at the Boardwalk, though, the music, theming, etc. We have had a few noise issues at BWI, however, and prefer to stay in BCV as it's a bit quieter. While it's a little further to EP, it's closer to the DHS path. We really like the BWI pool - some people don't like the clown slide, but DS12 loves it and the pool is set up so you can sit just about anywhere on the pool deck and still see your kids as they walk up to the slide entrance and wait to go down.

We have stayed at both. We really enjoyed our room at the Boardwalk, but it seemed like forever to get to it...long long hallways! Once we were in it, it seemed much more spacious than any other room we have stayed in.

Beach Club gets points for the Stormalong Bay and just general atmosphere of the resort.

Both resorts are great! I think either way, you will have a magical stay!

BC pool for the win. We love BC and YC for pool, proximity to Epcot, Beaches and Cream.

We prefer YC, because all rooms have a full balcony where BC only 50% of rooms have a full balcony. But they’re essentially 2 sides of the same resort.
We haven’t stayed at BWI, it never appealed to us. All the food is outside along the boardwalk. And I don’t like clowns!

We've stayed at both. I liked that the BC had a side exit that made it closer to walk over to Epcot, and the bright cheerfulness of the resort itself. Our room there was a looong trek to get to, and we had the tiniest, standing-room only, balcony ever, so we never used it.

We had to learn how to navigate our way around the BWI, and had an equally long walk to our room there as well. But the full balcony was nice, with a much nicer (standard) view as well. The grounds are lovely, and the atmosphere on the boardwalk itself wonderful. It's a little longer walk over to Epcot, but much closer walking to the Studios, and the boat shows up regularly for that (or Epcot) anyway.

I’ve stayed at both. And while beach club is my favorite, Boardwalk was awesome too.

We love both! We have been staying at the BW for the last several trips. Love the location to DS, can be an easy walk in the AM. I am pooped by the end of the day, so the boat is a great option.

Have always stayed at BWI but I’m looking forward to trying BC/YC when the price is right!!!

All else being equal I’d pick Beach Club

But honestly I would stay wherever its cheapest. Including swan and dolphin as well. I love walking to epcot and HS enough that individual resort pros and cons don’t matter that much.

I'm a recent BWI convert. The Boardwalk/Water view there is fantastic. It was lovely watching the boats and spying on people below. We don't use the pool anymore so Pennywise is no longer an issue.

Am at Boardwalk now and would without hesitation choose Boardwalk over Beach Club. My eight year old actually likes the Clown poolslide over the shipwreck pool slide a BC. And I like the better management. As for food options, the entire boardwalk is steps away and the boat dock is much easier to get to, as is DHS if walking. Epcot/Skyliner walk is a bit of a wash. Rooms to me are nicer over here at BW although the elevators aren’t great. Overall seems cosier and better but again, o/s the pool, Beach Club for me just plain sn’t good.

I like the parking better at BCV. It just isn't that good at BWV.

Both are good. When our kids we young, BC and the pool was great.
Now going without the kids, we enjoy Boardwalk more.
Can't go wrong at either.

THIS. This is why we actually pick BWV OVER Beach Club. We love Stormalong Bay, but I CANNOT keep track of my kids there and it makes me nervous. And you have to LEAVE the pool to get to the slide. My kids love the creepy Clown Pool ;)
