My 7 month booking window is coming up soon and I am hoping to switch to one of the 2. they both look aweome! How to decide?? Our girls will be 5 and 7 at the time. Obviously the pool area at Beach club is a bonus. But the Boardwalk restaurants/ shops look cool. We have only ever stayed at BLT, GF and Poly and out of those Poly was our favorite. Thanks!

Great thanks! Now fingers crossed I can get BC!! I know its a super hard one to get, so I was thinking Boardwalk would be my 2nd choice and poly 3rd (if any will be available!)

I don't even swim but I prefer BCV. Well, I do like lounging in the beach chairs at BCV better than BWV. But the big thing is that, with several food options right there, I can get food in the pouring rain without getting wet. Note-it was pouring rain this day.

SAB is a very cool pool, but it is a very hard pool to watch kids in. It does not have clear sight lines from one spot to another. So if you are the type of parent who that will bother, SAB can give you grey hair quickly.

Beach Club. The pool can't be used without staying there, whereas like another said, you can easily walk over and do the Boardwalk stuff. I love the Beach Club setup and it should be even better now after the refurbishment

I agree, when choosing a resort to take our 3 granddaughters (11, 11, 9) last year, BC was off the list because it was just the 2 of us, and know what SAB is like. It would be too much work and stress for us old folks to watch the girls, esp with the slide entrance outside the pool area and the 8 ft sections of the lazy river. We choose BLT for that trip. We leave SAB for when their parents are with us!

BCV is also better if you have a car to park. Parking is right next to the building. At BWV, you may have to park in the south forty.

The Poly is one of my favorites, and the Beach Club is too. I love the decor at the beach club better than at the Boardwalk-it's fresher somehow. Storm A Long Bay Pool is pretty cool, one of the best DVC pools! We stayed at the Beach Club for the 10th Anniversary DisMeet in late July...and it was fabulous!

By the way, we own at the BW and the issue of watching kids in the pool kept me away from BC until my kids were tweens. And then my kids said they liked BW better.....I think just because the resort was very familiar to them.
