We were just at Disney and stopped by Beach Club for Dinner. We went out back and saw that they had set up a movie screen on the beach. They also had a fire for roasting marshmallows.

Do they do this every night? Do they do this in the summer?

Secondly, we noticed that the pool gates seemed to be open and they weren't keeping too close an eye on who entered. From what I had heard pool hopping wasn't allowed and you needed your key to access the pool area? Is this still the case? Are the rules relaxed during non-peak times of year?

With all the activities going on at Beach Club, I called today to book for this summer. Nothing was available so we'll hope for the best with our waitlist. We have OKW to fall back on, so we're still in good shape.

Not sure about the fire but you can walk around the pool all you want. Its just when you need a towel or if they see you without the wristbands they will ask to see your room key and if you don't have it you might(or Will) be asked to leave.

The campfire and movie are offered every night. I think that started last summer and it continued through the winter.

Pool hopping to SAB is not allowed....ever. It states that in every issue of Disney Files, I think on the website, etc.. Whether or not there's a guard checking keys at a particular moment really doesn't matter. Hopping is just not allowed.

Good luck getting your reservation.
