Beach Club - Marketplace??

I keep reading about the Marketplace at the Beach Club. We're going 7/2-7/9 so I'm intrigued. We haven't stayed there in 3 years and I know there was no Marketplace then. What is it exactly and what are the offerings???

It's the new name for the shop at BC. It was closed for a few months for remodeling.

It now has a self serve drink station with fresh brewed coffee, coke, apple juice, lite lemonade etc..

In the am, wonderful baked goods are offered....great chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls, etc as well as fruit and yogurt parfaits.

Several types of sandwiches and salads are offered by lunchtime. I believe soup as well.

Several flavors of gelato are available as well....made at the Y&BC. Very good according to my two gelato fans.

It is a great change IMHO.

Yes, you can buy and use refillable mugs there. We had breakfast a few times there in May. Decent croissant breakfast sandwiches, yummy fruit and yogurt parfaits. We didn't try the gelato, but it looked good. The Marketplace seems like a great addition. Enjoy!

What hours are they running, and is that the same for the mug station?

When we were there in May, they were experiementing with opening hour. Apparently for a time, the store opened at 6:30 but just to use the drink station. It was supposedly confusing to guests (read people were carping about it) so the opening hour had just been switched to 7am. Some of the CMs still didn't know about the change.

Sorry don't know closing.....maybe 11pm? It was still open after Illuminations.
