Beach Club Market Place - Where is it ?

Beach Club Market Place - like the name sounds at the Beach Club.
But is it in the section between the YC & BC ?

Is it easy to get to from the YC ? BC ? SAB ?

Can anyone buy items at the Beach Club Market Place - or just YC/BC guests ?

Does the Beach Club Market Place sell containers of milk ?


Sorry for so many questions. It sounds like a food store at a Deluxe resort

If I'm not mistaken, I think that is what they are calling the food offerings section of the gift shop at BC -- the gift shop at BC is Atlanticwear Emporiam (or was...maybe the entire name is now changed to Beach Club Market Place?? I haven't been since it reopened) . They just got done referbishing it all to have some kind of fast food type offerings beyond just milk and soda & the small groceries...they now have some kind of quick food offerings and a self refill mug station.

There's a thread somewhere around here or over on the DVC board with pics I saw a short while ago if you do a search.

Yep, the new name for the Emporium is Beach Club Marketplace. It is a great change.

There are a couple of hot offerings in the am as well as decadent chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls, etc.. Good sandwiches and a couple of different salads and I think soup are offered later. There is good gelato made right at the BC, too.

The mug station has freshly brewed coffee....the grinder is right next to the machine.

The refrigerated section is about the same as it has been since the BCV opened. Milk, juice, eggs,milk, pop, beer, sandwich meats and cheeses etc.. Some frozen meals and pizzas. There are basic drygoods as well.

It is off the lobby of the BC but not in the direction of Cape May, B&C, SAB, etc.. but rather in the direction of the hotel rooms.

Anyone can shop there just as at any WDW shop.

Hi, We have never stayed at the BC and are going there in Oct. I am concerened that they don't have some sort of counter service place to grab a quick breakfast. Is the Marketplace the place where I could do that?

Yes it's an option for counter service. They do service some breakfast and lunch items there and they have a few tables. If I recall though, they do have a little contential breakfast set up in the front area of Cape May Cafe and you can sit in the room next to it. So that is also a counter type option for the morning.

I just came back from there, personally it was ok, not to impressed with the food selections thou, not much to chose from....stuff I do not really eat.

That continental breakfast area was not serving this week. I imagine it is not necessary now. The Marketplace opens earlier than it did before, it is closer to the rooms of both BC and BCV, has hot freshly brewed coffee versus the stuff in canteens, and in general offers lots more than that little area.

Oh, I forgot to mention the fruit and yogurt parfaits. I didn't buy any this trip but they looked great and I know two in my family would love them. Next trip!

My DW and I stopped in here briefly on our last day at WDW (5/29) and were favorably impressed with the additions to the store. The gelato counter was particularly appealing, but we didn't have the time to try any.

The freshly brewed coffee, baked goods and sandwichs looked good. I think that this is a definite improvement to the BCV (and BC). It essentially adds an easily accessible BW Bakery and Seashore Sweets convenient to the BCV.
