Ok..I am about to bust!!!

We have been planning a 10 day Disney trip this Christmas with our family and had booked the Downtown Disney Hilton! We figured this would be awesome and exciting...and just when I thought it couldn't get any better..

DH just informed me that he had changed our reservations for the trip.. I was thinking...boooooo!! But he booked up Club Level at the Beach Club!! I am about to bust!!! The rest of the family doesn't know and he isn't telling them until we get there!!

I know nothing about CL...but I am sure it will be wonderful!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Congrats!

We are right behind you. We leave for our first beach club/club level trip in 7 days! The friendly people on the beach club thread have gotten me prepared and excited!

Congrats!!!! And see you real soon!

You'll LOVE it!!!
BC has hands down the best pool and water features of any resort. We love that we could peak over the edge of our balcony and see the top of the Eiffel tower in Epcot, and walk over to the Boardwalk and watch Illuminations.
The CL is awesome too...especially the late night cookies and desserts. We love the BC...would definitely go back in a heartbeat.
Have an awesome trip!

Congrats! We had a wonderful stay at BC CL in August. It was fantastic! I never stayed CL before, and it was everything I thought it would be! The staff was wonderful, and treated my 27yr old daughter like a celebrity!

We stayed CL Beach Club last Feb and loved it!!! Beautiful resort and the kids loved the pool. Only downfall was the bus transportation but it was do able just took a little more time. I would definately stay there again!

:)You will enjoy the Beach Club. It is a great place to stay. The Club level is also nice. You will have a continental breakfast each day, mid-day snacks, soda, sparkling water, tea, etc. throughout the day. Evening snacks which for some tends to fill them up, late evening desserts, etc. Plus the staff is there all day to help with whatever details you need. The lounge is a nice place to relax too.

Location is wonderful, although the trip to Magic Kingdom on the bus can be a full bus if you go at busy times. Be sure to allow enough transportation time if you have something scheduled.

And, you will love the decorations. Be sure to hop over to the Yacht Club and across the way to the Boardwalk. It really gets you in the holiday spirit. Don't forget the Grand Floridian and the Animal Kingdom for a look at the Christmas decorations.

We just love WDW at Christmas ... no one does Christmas like Disney:) Enjoy.

Wow!!! You will love it there. And you just might have a hard time staying ANYWHERE else :thumbsup2

Be sure and tell Teena (she will be in the Lobby, and is a Disboard member) hello!!!

I'm trying to not feel jealous, but........................I WANNA GO BACK!!!!

We just stayed at the Beach Club for 9 days and it was the worst 9 days in a Disney Hotel ever.

We hated everything about that place. I wish you all the best on your Disney trip and I hope you have a better time there then we did.

We had a WONDERFUL time at the Beach Club - you will LOVE it! Great pool, people, and the location is FANTASTIC! Epcot is our favorite resort and it is so amazing to walk 3 minutes and be in the "UK/France." :cool1:

Have a great vacation!

Staying at BC is a dream! Walking out the back of the lobby and looking at BW, and walking to Epcot is the BEST! Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for all the Disney wishes guys! My youngest daughter is COUNTING down the days.....and we are all so excited!!!

OUCH!
What exactly was it that made it a horrible hotel?

Just out of curiosity, what was it that you didn't like ? I've read so many good things about the Beach Club but never "the worst"..... :confused3
I've never stayed there but we're planning to stay our next trip.....

I would like to know as well. We stayed at the BC ten years ago on Club Level and it was one of the best Disney resort stays we have had. Not heard anything negative about the BC....what happened?

Just remember, you can find a bunch of people on this board that had a "horrible time" at each and every resort at WDW. I have had a bad stay at the Contemporary and the Boardwalk and the Wilderness Lodge. Does that mean those resorts are horrible? No!! It just wasn't what I liked. I've had bad stays at Allstars Sports (due to other guests). Some people do not like the Y&B because they love the food courts like at the value and moderates. They come to the Y&B and really do not enjoy it because of the lack of a "real" food court. Some people like resorts that you enter your room from outside (like the values and moderates) or like resorts that have lots of separate buildings to walk to to go to your room (like the Poly and Grand). Some do not like one large building with lots of long hallways (like the Boardwalk). Some people love Stormalong Bay but others think it's too large and you can't keep track of your children there. That's what makes Disney World so wonderful. There is a resort for everyone!!!

One of the previous posters mentioned the Beach & Yacht FAQ thread. Hope you come on over and join us over there. Lots of great info and laughs. Follow the link in my signature.
