Beach Club Foliage

Last year we stayed at the Beach Club and asked for a water view room. We got a beautiful room, but the only water we saw was a few blue specs between tons of leaves and branches from many very tall trees. We requested and received a transfer to a room with an unobstructed view of the lake, but we heard many people complaining that the trees had overgrown what was once a nice view.

We heard rumors that they were going to trim some of the trees or even remove some to free up the views.

We were there in September and the trees looked even taller and more plush, thus blocking even more views of the lake.

Has this been a problem for anyone else and has anyone heard of plans to open the view up from the Beach Club?

We'll be there on the fifth floor-water view. I'd like to know too if I'm going to get what I'm paying for.
