We just received a 40% off code and upgraded to Beach Club, Concierge Level. The reservation says "Deluxe Room", can anyone give me any information on what that means?

Thanks!!!

I looked in my Passporter for you and it says "Both Yacht and Beach Club offer concierge service with slightly larger rooms on the fifth floor."

Sounds like your deluxe room is a little bigger and of course you'll have access to the concierge services and snacks.

Have fun! That pool is AMAZING :)

We stayed in a Deluxe CL room at the BWI and I believe that the BC rooms are quite similar. If so .... You'll have a separate sitting area with a sleeper sofa and armoire with another tv :) Wonderful size room!!

Thanks Colleen!!! :)

Where did you get the 40% off code if you don't mind me asking!
:thumbsup2

The 40% off code was a mailed code to my neighbor. I was able to use it because our two families were booked to share a 2-bedroom Villa at BCV. When she received the code I called and had our ressie for 8 people at BCV turned into one reservation, for two rooms of 4 people each at BC.

It took some patience and getting the right person on the phone, but we did it. :worship:

Thank you!!! :yay: Can you tell me what view you had in your deluxe room at BWI?

luxurydisneyguide has a picture of a BC Deluxe room that might help:

Water-view Deluxe Rooms, at 533 square feet, offer two queen beds in an extra-large bedroom as well as a separate sitting room with daybed and reading chairs.

Room tip: Request an Illuminations view when booking your room and remember that the standard-view rooms could have a view of the parking lot. Water-view rooms aren't always of Crescent Lake; many times they face Stormalong Bay, a somewhat noisy location.

Also, if balconies are important to you, you might check what they say about this:

I must say, that if you have the choice between the next door Yacht Club and the Beach Club I would choose the former. The Yacht Club’s rooms and lobby are more sophisticated and all have full-size balconies where the majority of the Beach Club’s room balconies are 1-by-3 feet, standing-room-only

Also, here's our Boardwalk view from the Deluxe club level at BWI like CPers Mom probably had too:

HTH!

We have stayed in a deluxe room a couple of times. They are over-sized rooms. There was no separate sitting area. It has 2 queen beds, a day bed and 1 tv. The bathroom is the same size as a standard room. There are only 6-7 in the resort. 4 of them are located by the quiet pool. Not too sure about the location of the others. The ones by the pool can be identified from the outside when walking into the resort, the pool is on your right. All of the rooms from the first to fourth floors are deluxe rooms. You can tell by the size of the balconies. We stayed on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The second had a huge balcony over looking the pool. The 3rd floor had 2 standing room balconies, one over the pool, the other looking toward the Boardwalk. The 4th floor is the same as the first. I would try not to get the first floor room as the patio is big but right next to the door so there is no privacy. The downside of these rooms is it is a bit of a hike to the 5th floor lounge. If you don't need the space and convience to the lounge is important to you go with a standard concierge room.

We have also stayed in a BC deluxe room by the quiet pool. The one on the 4th floor was our room, the balcony was double the size of a standard full size balcony at BC and we could see the higher fireworks from Illuminations :thumbsup2 We liked the location, closer to Epcot, however, it is a walk to the lounge as you will use the main elevator to get to the lounge.

Yes, so if location to the lounge and having your room located on the fifth floor is what you are looking for, change to a standard concierge room. We really liked the oversized deluxe room as many of the water view rooms on the concierge floor do not have a daybed and some of these are a little smaller due to the pitch in the roof. A daybed is a must for our family.
