Beach club day bed question

Is the day bed in the beach club the same size as the one in the Poly?

I ask because all the website say the Beach Club rooms hold 4 adults only - but they also say they have a day bed. The descriptions of the Poly rooms say they can hold 4 adults plus a someone in the daybed (making 5 people).

We have a teenage boy and a preteen girl. The daybed in the Poly was plenty big enough for our daughter, I just want to make sure the one in the beachclub will work for her as well.

I was going to stay at the BC so I called about the size of the Daybed.. I spoke with a wonderful front desk clerk, who assured me the Daybeds were the same size as a single (twin) bed.

While I havent stayed at the BC we did stay at the YC and we have also stayed at the Poly and the daybeds were the same size. They are plenty big enough for an adult or even 2 smaller kids to sleep on and very comfy.

I would assume that the daybeds in the BC are the same size as the ones in the YC. We stayed there this past July and I would say that it is the size of a twin bed. My four year old slept in it and he loved it. I am sure for a pre teen girl it would be great. Hope that helps.

We've stayed at the Polynesian many times (around 30) and a few times at the BC. The daybeds we've had at the BC have NOT been twin size....both shorter and narrower than those at the Polynesian.

Our daughter did fine in the daybed for our stays at the BC however. She was probably her current 5' at our last stay....if that helps.

As stated they are not the same size and the mattress is different.

Our 5'9, 14-year-old daughter slept in the BC daybed last December and had no problems with the size of the bed.

We stayed at BC last April and our room did not have a daybed. We expected it, but didn't really need it, so we didn't try to switch or anyhting. Do you have to request them? We had a water view room, so I thought it was a given.

My parents didn't have a daybed in their room either. They had a corner room which was huge with a King bed and no daybed. There was plenty of room for one. We were kind of bummed, because we could have sent one of the kids over to their room.

Not all rooms have the daybeds. They try to give them to the families of 5 so everyone has a bed. You can still request one if you want and would probably get one.
