Hi all, we are a family five (12, 10, 6) split stay in Feb with off property Ritz (3 nights each). I am looking at crowding into one room at either BCCL or BWICL for Feb 14-17. I know Stormalong bay is great, not sure how much we can use it in Feb?? Looking for comments on which may be better, cleaner, best CL, and a quiet room. BTW price seems to be very similar about 1850 for 3 night (with AAA) for either BC a little less, BWI a little more.

Thanks for your time.

i can comment on the bc cl we stayed there this past jan and used sab about 4 days out of our 7 day stay. it is very nice to have your breakfast and coffee taken care of not to mention snacks and drinks thru out the day. the food offerings at nite were very good as were the desserts. the staff is very pleasant and helpful. the rooms are good size. however after all that..i have heard bwi cl is even better...good luck and have a fun trip.

I haven't stayed at BWI CL yet - doing that in September for the first time. I have stayed at BC CL, and enjoyed it very much. Love their IPO - but it is shared by both resorts so that is not a factor. We used the food offerings at the BC lounge daily - ate breakfast there most mornings and usually had both a snack later in the day and an after dinner drink. We were happy enough with all the offerings, although DH wished the desserts were chocolate-ier.
It was only crowded at breakfast - sometimes we were the only people there when we went by later.

As far as SAB goes, I've definitely used it in January very happily. The weather is unpredicatable enough that you can't count on it, but we certainly swam multiple days on the last winter trip I made.

thanks so much for your reply. I STILL cannot decide between BWICL and BCCL, anymore opinions?

I love the BWI! Their concierge staff are the best on property. The lounge offerings are from the Boardwalk restaurants, which IMO were really good. Rooms have either a boardwalk view or courtyard view. If you prefer one over the other, put the request in your ressie. There is alot going on at night on the Boardwalk, street performers, musicians, etc.

BC has a better pool, but since you are going in Feb. you may not be spending much time there. The BWI has the "clown" pool with waterslide. Which is a nice pool too.

Both resorts are great. You won't be disappointed in either one. :)

I've stayed at both and the BWI concierge level is much better in my opinion. The lounge is much larger and I liked the food selections better.
