Beach Club breakfast-new rumor

Anyone heard the rumor that Chip and Dale are not going to be at the Beach Club breakfast any longer, but Donald will be? May have already been posted, but I have'nt seen it anywhere.

I guess its a trade off, two characters for one. If it is true its all about the money.

I hope this isn't true! We have this booked in December hoping to see Chip n Dale! And we just canceled Garden Grill since we figured we would see them at the Beach Club! Bummer!

In years past, you couldn't swing a dead mouse in a character meal without hitting chip and dale. With the demise of LTT's dinner and GG's lunch, plus this change, it's quite the opposite. Though, truth be told, I find Donald to be, well, a lot harder to find.

The same "special friend" mentioned elsewhere that Chip & Dale were due for some, ahem, cosmetic surgery at the behest of Imagineering, so perhaps this is only temporary.

C&D use to be at Chef Mickey's too and on our last two visits, we only saw Donald. I wonder if it's the cost of having two characters vs. one character.

I hope this rumor is true. DH and I are eating breakfast there in October (it's our last day and we're at the BCV). DH is a big Donald Duck fan and would be so excited to eat with him.

Well that just stinks for us! We are going to BC just to see them! DD will be crushed. We'll be at the Tusker house the next morning and will see Donald there! Darn it! I guess he'll be in two different outfits so that will be nice, but we were really counting on C&D!!! I hope this is short termed!

Rumor has it that they are going to start using new character heads for Mickey & Minnie that have mouths that move. Maybe they are planning to do the same with Chip & Dale. It's kind of silly since the ones at the character meals don't speak to you at the present time. I think it would be kind of freaky if they started actually talking to you. I have a hard enough time understanding what C & D say in cartoons and forget about Donald.
