does disney offer beach club discounts on rooms ever?

The only discounts you will ever see on any Disney resort property are passholder discounts, off season dates or package discounts. Beach club is a FANTASTIC resort and we are staying for 12 glorious days in October. I get a very large discount being a CM, but EVEN at 50% off is still VERY expensive for our family. We are splurging and staying the whole time there, it truly is WONDERFUL!! If you can afford to go over budget a bit, it's worth every penny

I was lucky enough to get a 40% off coupon for Aug - Sep which I am using in aug for 40% off at Beach Club. I got this directly from a Disney mailer and from what I have learned, these are sent out randomly to people on their mailing list. I think I got on it by requesting the travel DVD. Couldn't hurt to try. These are not transferable as they come with a code for you only that you give them when you call. This changed the price from $305 to $195, now affordable for my family of five.
