Beach Club Addicts

we dined at cape may for christmas eve a few weeks ago and i was in awe over the lobby. We couldn't get a good view of the pool area, but I am going to change that this July. My DD's can't wait to swim there. After 9 days at WDW on Chritsmas, I asked what their favorite part was and they said the swimming. we stayed at por and our front door literally opened to a quiet pool 5 feet in front of us. i am surpising my mom and sister with this girls only trip and am hoping the BC will give us the right kind of atmosphere. They think we're staying at a moderate. I am determined to keep this a secret for 6 months. I want to have a room near the quiet pool, since the girls love to swim and my mom is a smoker...any suggestions on specifics I should ask for?

When I made our ressies, I asked for a room close to Epcot. I didn't care about preferred, just being close to Epcot. We were pretty close to a quiet pool, but when they told me we would be close to Epcot, they meant it. Right outside the sliding glass doors (we were on the bottom floor) was a walkway and then some woods (which turned out to be so peaceful and could be a good area for a smoker). The walkway went to the International Gateway so we could be inside Epcot within 2-3 minutes. The quiet pool wasn't very far either. Maybe 2 minutes if you were walking slow and others got in your way.

Have a great trip!!!

Since we honeymooned at the BC in 1994, it has become the only place we stay (well, there and the YC-we alternate :) ). It does feel like we're going "home" every time we walk into that lobby after having not been in a year :goodvibes

Can't wait to go back in August! :thumbsup2
