I will be heading back to BCV in 3 weeks and have a 2 br dedicated reserved. It is my "Sister trip" and I am looking forward to having fun with my 4 sisters.:cool1::cool1:
This will be my first ever "Adult only" trip. I have always gone with the kids and grand kids.
I requested a pool view but now I am wondering if the "Dedicated 2 bedrooms" may be located in a certain area and there is a different request I should make? Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have one other question. How far is the walk to Epcot. One of my sisters tires easily and I am not sure if we should walk or take the boat..Thanks for any advice.:lovestruc

The walk is about the same distance to the boat dock or the International Gateway. Room types are spread throughout the resort.

The good thing is that the BCV are on the side of the resort closest to Epcot. It is a very manageable walk, albeit with a little hill in it. You might actually walk less walking to Epcot from BCV than walking from your BCV to the boat dock. Regardless, you'll get into Epcot sooner walking as you won't have to walk and then wait for the boat.

There are dedicated 2 BR units with pool view, only on or two have 2 queens though. So if you have a guaranteed 2 queen unit it will probably not have a pool view.
Because of your sister's condition I would suggest requesting something near the main elevators.

The walk to EPCOT should be no longer than 10 min depending on your pace and room location. It's the same distance to walk to the boat. There is a pathway along the canal which will let you avoid the hill at the bridge which I often use, makes the walk a little easier.

I hope you all have a great trip and enjoy BCV

We just got back and it was our first stay at BWV. We had the "coveted" Epcot View - in the photo above - we had a room facing Epcot (and Epcot Resort Blvd) over the canal. Now, we are BWV owners, so we know what long walks look like - and that location was LONG. It was convienent to self park (but we don't have a car) - and not horrible to the bus stops - but SAB was a half day hike and Epcot you needed to pack a lunch for. (And I'll go on record as someone who calls that a "road view." If your windows were closed, it was a nice view - but the balcony was a LOT of road noise.)

I'd ask for a room "close to the lobby" - if you could get a room in the area circled in red, that would be much more convienent.
