I’ve been searching for this information over on the beach club thread and can’t seem to find it. We have a party of four booked early August. Resort view room. Our biggest request is a daybed because my son is tall and could really use his own space to sleep. We put in that as our only request but would love to avoid a view of just the roof or parking lot. Is there anything else we should request? Does ground floor have a better chance of a daybed?

If the day bed is what you really want don’t put anything else in to make it as easy as possible for the room assignor to get you the day bed.

I wouldn’t include anything else because you’re already behind all parties of 5 as they have priority for daybed rooms.

Does ground floor have a better chance of a daybed?
Most rooms have a daybed, but not all rooms. Rooms that are on the top floor tend to be smaller and might not have a daybed. Odd rooms that are located in the corners can also be too small for a daybed. A room on the ground floor and second floor will increase your chance of a daybed and a view that doesn't include the flat roof, but nothing is 100%. If you really want the daybed then make that your only reguest. :)

If it's a room only reservation you could just add a guest under age 18 to the reservation. That would guarantee you a daybed.
