Sorry if this seems a dumb question...

Are the Beach Boys, Eat to the Beat concerts at EPCOT performed by the real Beach Boys (ie Brian Wilson etc) or are they a cover band / the cast of Good Vibrations?

"The Beach Boys Band" are...

MIKE LOVE & BRUCE JOHNSTON

Mike Love has licensed the Beach Boys' name for his tour, which also features Bruce Johnston. Supporting performers (the "Beach Boys Band") include Randell Kirsch, John Cowsill, Tim Bonhomme, Chris Farmer, Scott Totten, and Mike Kowalski. (See also the BB Band website.).

What time of the year do they play in epcot? We have seen the beattles band and loved them.

The Beatles ban is always in Epcot. The Beach Boys are there for Food and Wine.

Be prepared for large crowds for the Beach Boys. We were there last year and the line for seating starts very early in the afternoon.

Hey you never know...John Stamos maybe playing drums with them.

HAHAHA to the John Stamos part! that episode of Full House was crazy..then again wasn't every episode?!

Excited about the BB in concert though! that would be cool! how do we get more info?

John Stamos used to be a member of the Beach Boys band. I heard that's why the BB were on a few of the episodes of Full House.

This is true, John Stamos did used to tour with the Beach Boys. I believe he was part of the band when they did Kokomo for the movie Cocktail.

Al Jardine and Mike Love got into a big argument about the Beach Boys after Carl Wilson died. Mike Love won. Al Jardine lost.

So, actually, it's Mike Love and a bunch of other guys trying to sound like the Beach Boys. No Carl, Dennis or Brian Wilson. No Al Jardine.

Call it "The Beach Boy"

Huh!! Must have been a real "Beach Brawl" :rotfl:

DH and I have seen the Beach Boys many times over the years (with and without Brian Wilson and John Stamos). But with Carl, Brian, Al, and Dennis gone, we really have no interest in seeing them again - it's just not the same anymore. Bruce Johnston seems like a nice guy but I never cared for Mike Love.
