Has anybody seen a Beach Boy concert with John Stamos? I know a new Beach Boy tour is starting & I really want to see it because of John Stamos-he's the coolest. Does anyone know if you can meet him after a concert to get a picture & autograph?

I saw him with them when I was 12ish? It was a good show, though I don't consider them the Beach Boys. No Brian Wilson, no Beach Boys! However, I distinctly remember as a kid going to the show ONLY to see John Stamos. HE was great. Did an awesome drum solo. I think Chicago opened for them.

Exactly the same here..I think I was close to the same age..maybe 13ish and also went for the same reasons ;) It was my first concert.

There was no meet and greet after the concert but that was longer ago than I care to state so who knows what the current tour is like.

Yep he will be in the Beach Boys new 50th tour which is this year but hasn't started yet. See old clips of him in past concerts with the Beach Boys on Youtube. Just type John Stamos Beach Boys. & They are recent too last year & the year before. It is so cool to watch. I am so excited about the new tour & really want to see him in person! Go to the Beach Boys official website for tour dates. :thumbsup2 OMG I have had a huge crush on him! He has got to be the most cutest guy in the universe!!! He is still so hot! & PS: His favorite place to go is Disney. He is a huge Disney fan! I found that out on the internet. So if anybody has seen him in a Beach Boy concert recently like last year or the year before did he sign autographs after??? I really want to know. I would probablly faint if I ever meet him!

I've seen the Beach Boys many times and so far, never have seen a Meet and Greet type thing. But, you never know.

Today is my birthday (47) and I first saw them when I was 13. Of course, I've never seen Brian Wilson with them so if them come anywhere near me, we're going as it is what I asked for for my b-day. :) DH is not the biggest fan but he's been a darn good sport all these years. Beach Boy music makes me happy--I love seeing people of all ages enjoy their concerts.

They are playing at the Grammys tonight, are you taping it? Maybe John Stamos will play with them. :)

(PS Thanks Dan Murphy for letting me know about this. It's a great b-day present. :) )

I saw the Beach Boys with John Stamos last summer at a winery concert. JS wasn't billed as being with them ahead of time - he was the surprise drummer. He was great! He sang a song and did fine, but his drumming was the best.

The venue I saw them at doesn't have meet n' greets anymore. Chris Isaak used to always do them after his concerts, but no more. :(

I'll wait to see what Beach Boys clips from tonight's Grammy's show is posted on Youtube. Maybe JS will be there. Not sure. I can try to find out online. Well I am an old fan of the Beach Boys too. I saw the original group twice in 1992 & 1999 -both times in Lake Tahoe but I don't think JS was playing with them then. Full House is still my favorite show-I watch it all the time on DVD. The Beach Boy Bingo episode is one of my favorites. :cool1: Yeah too bad I dought they have a meet & greet after. It's so impossible to meet JS! :sad1: I know though he lives in Orange County.

^OH DRAT I can't believe I missed him last year!!! I live somewhat close where you saw him. I'm located in 94010. But ah I won't miss him this year! I signed up to be notified when the Beach Boys will be in my area. JS is the absolute best drummer & guitarist! I saw clips of his concerts on Youtube. I just can't wait to see him live. When it comes to JS you sure need a front row seat!

Yeah, disneyparks - we saw them at Wente in Livermore, and they sometimes play at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga. I'd like to go to a concert this summer in Napa - and stay overnight. There are a few venues there for concerts.

I saw the Beach Boys last year and it's a show worth seeing. I thought I wouldn't like it either without any Wilsons however, I believe the Wilson kids are now playing in the band along with the two (is it Al and MIke?).
They sounded just like the original. I did see them years ago with John Stamos and unfortunately, I wasn't 13is :lmao: I was married to first husband so probably 1989-90? time period? I did not see any meet or greets.
(Paul McCartney is on the Grammys right now and I got to meet him in Berkeley years ago).

Mike Love and Bruce Johnston tour as the Beach Boys. Al Jardine performs separately. Brian does solo.

They had a rough 50 years but also amazing careers in music.

I am so glad they have found a way to come together after 50 years in the business. I hope they have a wonderful reunion tour.

Happy Birthday, Brenda! I've seen the Beach Boys many times, too (with John Stamos a couple of times!), and remember being pleasantly surprised one night when Brian Wilson showed up unexpectedly to do a few songs shortly after the release of his solo album. I hope you get to see him some time! He looked good tonight, didn't he?

I also loved seeing them all together again and thought Glen Campbell probably should have been up there with them given the history, but maybe he wasn't able, I dunno. I thought it was a poignant moment seeing him watching them with a big smile on his face. I noticed there weren't many people in the audience who knew the words to Rhinestone Cowboy, even Sir Paul, lol (which was another irony, Brian being there the same time as Paul, someone he was both inspired by and intimidated by way back when during the drug fog and even today).

The wife saw him before we were married, so a little over 20 years ago. At that time and venue, there was a meet and greet. She still blushes when "Kokomo" is on the radio, so I guess she enjoyed the show and meet/greet!;)

DH said the same thing about Glen Campbell last night. He was kind of cheesed off that Glen wasn't up there with them (but I was happy Adam Levine was hahah!!).

Thanks! I was hoping for a rendition of "Happy Birthday to you." ;)
I did think Brian looked good.;) I think he's such a musical genius. Tragic that he abused drugs. I thought about that with Paul McCartney too. So much talent and so many gifts in that place last night.

We went several years ago and it was really fun!!!!!

Did anyone from the Bay Area happen to catch the Beach Boys 6/1? I wanted to go to see John Stamos but the day after I saw clips on Youtube & why wasn't he there??? :(
