I was wondering...if there is a beach area to sit down and relax as people have posted, are kids allowed in the water to swim and play at this area? or is it just a quiet area?

My son loves to play in the sand and sit at the edge of the water and weren't sure if he'd be able to do this there.

Thanks :D

Pretty much the whole park is a sand beach. There are lounge chairs and tables all over. Just be sure to get there early because the chairs near the water fill up the quickest.

Have fun!!!:hyper:

so can the kids wade out into the water and swim around too?

thanks again!

There is zero entry (wading to deep water) just about everywhere. The only place kids (or anyone for that matter) can’t play in the water is in the area where they have the dolphin swim. So try to get a seat by the opening of the lazy river. That is the best area for kids. It is the first area you will come to with zero entry. The dolphin area is further down.

Hope that helps!!!:wave2:

The water is also heated for swimming in our kids had loads of fun in there:jester:

This is the first year we are not going. My DH and I love it there. We did the trainer for a day 3 years ago and do the regular swim every year since. It is so relaxing and fun, your kids will love it. It is quiet enough because they only let so many people in but laid back enough the kids have fun. There is enough room for everyone to stretch out and not feel run over by one another.

If you have any other questions, let me know.:wave2:

Susan,

yes, just one other question please...

Can you take me with you every year please? ;)

This will be our first time, we're booking at the end of the month for April of next year and my kids are really excited. I can't wait..it's going to be a very, very long year.

LOL!!! :p

We probably won’t be doing it again for a while because if we are lucky enough I will be pregnant with in the year and I wouldn’t want to bring an infant because that limits what we could do there.

One other suggestion, bring water shoes. The reef is rough and the river has a concrete bottom. By the end of the day your feet can get pretty roughed up.

Also, for the dolphin swim they make you take off all jewelry, so I recommend not wearing too much so you don’t lose it. They do not make you take off you wedding bands. You will have a locker you can lock everything up in.
