We usually walk up at 10:50 and get in line for lunch at 11 without reservations. Can you still do this? I tried making reservations for the first time for lunch and nothing is available. Getting worried

It's harder than it used to be, yes. They don't hold tables for walk-ups, and many times they will be turned away at the bridge. An ADR is the way to go if it's a must-eat.

Always worth an ask at the check-in hut, but I'd have a Plan B ready.

Use Touring Plans reservation finder or check regularly...you will most likely be able to get a lunch ADR. Check back at 60 days and 30 days out, and also, you may snag one same week. The MDE app on the phone is your friend.
Haven't heard of too many people having luck with walk-ups at BOG.

We were there for lunch on 9/24 and I saw them turn walk ups away at the front gate. Definitely try Touring Plans, they were a huge help!

I suppose it's always worth asking, but I'd have a backup plan. Every time we eat here for lunch they are turning people away.
