FWIW, I think it would be hard to create a system that could handle so many requests at once. While this stinks, it's not surprising.

Yes, I totally anticipated this. I would have been surprised if it went smoothly. You have to think how many MONTHS of visitors were flocking on this morning going to the same pages. It probably should have been rolled out gradually to those who were within 180 days already, and then have the 180 rule apply to everyone else this day and onward.

Hi Guys,

My first post. Me and the wife are going to WDW in April.

I logged on to MDE this morning around 0930GMT and managed to find a booking slot for BOG at 13:10 on one of our days we are going. I booked this and got all the way to the end and it said reservation failed. So I retried and nothing.

Then I started a new booking and the same happened again for a time at 13;55. Very frustrated especially as the phone lines weren't open and when they did, it was engaged.

However. I've just checked MDE App and my 1310 reservation is showing. So don't give up the faith. You may find a 'failed' reservation is booked!

Same here...I had errors all morning, so was trying again online, and it said that I already have reservations for that time. So I went into MDE and, interesting enough, I have TWO exactly identical reservations, same date/time/party size, but different confirmation numbers. (the site is clearly supposed to prevent this from happening due to my first error)!

So, keep trying...cause lots of people probably have multiple reservations now from this morning.

I am trying to get through on the phone to make sure that I actually have a reservation, and will be cancelling one of them. Right now I have 7/11/2015 12 noon lunch party of 6, two times, what I will try to do is split this into a party of two and a party of four (long story) and cancel my duplicate 6 people reservation. If anyone happens to be interested in that date.

EDIT: Confirmed via phone that my reservations were on there, and split up my party size like I wanted, so 6 spots just opened at noon on 7/11. Good luck all!

Wish I would've checked here last night; I was still up at midnight EST, then got up at 5:55 to the fiasco, and spent all morning tired and grumpy, because though there were lots of time slots at 6am, I watched them all slip away til I had to get the kids off to school. Even got through once to the dining line around 8:15am, but they had no answers. I checked DME around 10:30 and saw a few of my attempts had made it through! Soooo excited!!!! We'll be going on the last day of our trip, followed by a late ADR at O'hana (hoping to catch Wishes). I think it will be perfect now!!!

I tried at 11:00 CST before I went to bed, just to see, but it wasn't up yet. Got up at 4:55 CST this morning, and I was able to get an ADR for May 7th with no problem. I hope it doesn't crash now that it is 6:00am EST. Good luck everyone!
