At breakfast and lunch, you seat yourself. Yes.

I went for breakfast last summer. After we ordered, a CM escorted us to a table. I think she did that because it was crowded with limited open tables.

It is still seat yourself at breakfast and lunch. They have CM helping with seating sometimes when there are limited tables available. Even if a CM is escorting you to a table, just explain that you have 11 people total and they'll help you find a spot for your entire group. But there is a possibility that you will need to split up into 2 groups.

Has always been seat yourself at lunch. They may try to 'help' you find a seat, but you usually find your own. We've never been 'helped'. We prefer the dark room and go there (just dh & I).

It is not always seat yourself at lunch. It can vary Day to day.

On my last 2 visits (January 2014 and May 2017), we were seated by a CM at lunch.

I can't speak for breakfast as I have never been there for that meal.

That's not true. We have been escorted directly to a table twice by a CM at lunch. We were held after paying for our order so that a CM could come get us and seat us.

This is what my experience was the last few times I was there for lunch. I had to wait for the CM to come and seat me. Both times, I asked if there was a table in whatever room I wanted & since there was, that's where they sat me so it was fine. Granted, I haven't been back since 2015 so I was thinking maybe things have changed.

I do remember though the first time I went in 2014 for lunch and I did seat myself then.

I was there with my kids last week. 2pm Friday reservation, and it was, indeed, a seat yourself QSR restaurant during lunch. I booked the reservation 6-months to the day, but overlooked that it was a QSR until a month later. Still 5-months out, I was unable to change to another lunch the entire week (June 6-11, 2017), so I guess it's still a good idea to book far out.

Food is ordered on a kiosk and brought "by magic," a very helpful kiosk CM told me. They must read the RF chip in the magic band to find which of the 3 rooms we were in. Seating at 2pm was no problem whatsoever in 2 of the 3 rooms. I was concerned based on the line leading up to the kiosks, but plenty of seating - except the West Wing. People were waiting outside and hovering for folks to leave.

Not bad, but I would have preferred a dinner table-service (TS) setting.
