Be Our Guest TS.... any details?

Does anyone have the "scoop" on the Be Our Guest TS restaurant that is opening in the new Fantasyland? Timeframe on opening, will it offer a character meal or regular meal..... etc.... We are going in November 2012 and wondered if it would be available.

The last I read it just said late 2012, so I don't know. I read it is supposed to be character dining featuring the characters from Beauty & The Beast. I also read it's supposed to have 3 dining rooms designed like different rooms from Beast's castle in the movie. It's also supposed to be a QS option during the day, so I'm thinking it's only going to be open for dinner? Not sure though.

Oh, my goodness, that castle is gorgeous!! TFS that picture. We're going to be there next Thanksgiving week and are hoping, hoping, hoping that Be Our Guest will be open by then.

Agree the castle is gorgeous. The funny thing about it though is the size/perspective. When we were there last week, a person was working on it, and they were as big as what should be two-three stories of the castle. I didn't know WDW hired giants as construction workers!

The castle is beautiful! I don't think it is going to be open for our July trip, which means we will have to wait until the summer of 2014 to enjoy it...oh well.

I went on the hunt last night for details, and didn't find much.

All I found was that it will be a QS during the day and TS at night.

Really? I'm thinking 1 credit just because it's going to be QS for lunch...it just seems like too much of a jump to go from that a lunch to 'signature' dining for dinner. I also think that 2 princess themed signature dining experiences would be a bit too much for one park. But who knows with Disney, after the announcement of the whole Avatar thing at AK, nothing would surprise me anymore.

All I found was that it will be a QS during the day and TS at night.

We're not even sure about that, as it will adjoin a QS restaurant, Gaston's Tavern.

It may mean that during the lunch hours Be Our Guest will provide seating for diners who got their food at Gaston's Tavern, rather than serve a QS lunch itself. This is the procedure with La Hacienda de San Angel, which serves only dinner, but provides extra lunchtime seating for Cantina de San Angel.

Doesn't make sense to me to have QS at lunch either as MK apparently has too many QS restaurants, based on the amount of time they keep Tomorrowland Terrace and Tortuga Tavern closed. What MK really needs is more TS. And not for two credits, either.
