I don't post much here on the resturant forum, but need help with a suggestion from WDW restaurant knowledgeable people.

We (my daughter, her two boys (8 and 10) and myself) have a lunch reservation at Be Our Guest in August. We all ate in the Grand Ballroom 3 years ago and was wondering about doing either The West Wing or The Castle Gallery this time.

Your thoughts, suggestions?

Thanks.

Dan

We always eat in the room with the music box. It is so pretty. The main dining room is so big and too busy, and the room with the Rose is too loud with the thunder and all.

The West Wing is our favorite by far, but it can be hard to get a table in there unless you have the earliest seating. You can see a Beast-torn tapestry, the rose with petals falling, and a painting of the prince that flashes to a painting of the Beast every minute or so. Failing that, we prefer the main ballroom with a view of the windows. I like watching the image of snow falling in those windows, especially in summer.

I've not eaten in the West Wing. It's always been pretty crowded. I usually eat in the Castle Gallery for lunch. It's nice and quiet and since I always get seated in the ballroom for dinner, it makes a nice change.

We have always eaten in the West Wing. To make sure we eat there we usually book dinner for 4pm so we can be one of the first in and request a table in that section.

We were in the gallery for dinner on our most recent trip & at first I was disappointed, but then when I realized how quiet it was I ended up really liking it. We walked through the other 2 rooms.

The West Wing is our favorite due to theming, but it can be tough to get a seat

Our favorite is right near the snow falling windows and the Christmas tree during the Christmas season. We've eaten in the West Wing and while I loved the theming I found it a little too dark.

We love the West Wing and can usually snag a table if we wait a minute or two, I don't mind the darkness. Otherwise I would eat in the ballroom. I don't care too much for the music box wing.

The West Wing is neat but we got a table in there and couldn't see our food so we moved to the main dining room. Its beautiful in the main room and the wall of windows is super fun to watch. The other room was closed for a private group the day we went so I cannot comment on that one. We could see in there but couldn't access it. A staff member was guarding the entrance.
