Be Our Guest Restaurant and Wedding venue??

I just watched this video for the new Be Our Guest Restaurant which will be opening in the Magic Kingdom park late this year ..

Does anyone know if this could be a potential wedding venue??!!

If so..I think it would be AMAZING! It would probably be really expensive too. I am guessing no since the MK stays open later than Epcot restaurants do.

I have no idea if they have plans for it. I wonder if it would have to be an alcohol free wedding... All of magic kingdom is dry, right?

Honestly, just because of the way it is supposed to be as far as restaurants go, they probably won't really recommend it for weddings. Last I heard it was going to be a quick service restaurant during the day and a sit down at night....at least I'm assuming that still holds true.

And yes, Magic Kingdom is the only dry park at Disney.

We asked for this location for our rehearsal dinner and we were told that they weren't using it because it is too new to plan any events right now. Who knows if it will change later.

Yep.. MK is dry.. although I've heard they bend the rules for big corporate sponsers when they host events in the park after closing... doubt they would do the same for a wedding.. unless maybe a couture one!

I think they did allow alcohol for their contest winning bride. I rmember the pics with wine glasses. I can't find the link at this exact moment, but it is the featured first wedding in tutera's disney wedding book. Magic Kingdom reception, clear tents, orange highlights, very extravagent.

Even if the venue is unavailable for weddings, the video (and potentially the finished restaurant) is filled with amazing Disney details. Maybe you can make note of some of your favorite aspects (colors, fabrics, ambiance) and recreate the look in a different venue. I'm always so inspired by Disney's attention to detail!

I just watched the video for that today! It looks amazing!! I am planning on going to WDW in late September for our Honeymoon...has the opening date been set? I really hope we get to see it on our trip!

There are a bunch of posts about it on the other forums of the boards...I remember reading that it could possibly open in the fall and to check in June for reservations ...I am going the first week of October so hopefully we both get to see it!

I am having a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding and asked my consultant about using Be Our Guest for the reception. They said no But I'm sure for the right price it could be done

Oh, thank you for posting that link!! It's the first thing I've seen that showed actual footage of the place!! I'm hoping it will be open by late Oct for when we do MNSSHP!
