Be Our Guest preorder--choosing sides

My pre-order window for Be Our Guest just opened! If you pre-order one of the sandwiches, it gives you the option to change the side that comes with it, but there's no comparable option for the braised pork. Has anyone had success getting them to substitute pommes frites for the green beans jardiniere? I know they're exceptionally picky about substitutions. I'm allergic to the peppers in the green beans but really want that pork. I'm wonder if I just have to settle for the kid's meal pork instead.

Not sure about the fries, but I'm sure they would make the green beans without the peppers if you mention your allergy. We've had great experience with allergy substitutions here. Two of my kids are allergic to the green beans so they get broccoli instead.

I had to wait for a chef prior to ordering/paying to make sure they left out an allergy item for me on a lunch dish I wanted to try. It did take a while but he personally made my food separate and it came to our table with the rest of our order. This might be a situation where you pre-order, but let them know at the podium you have to speak to a chef before they put your order in.
