Hi, I have 2 questions about BOG PPO Breakfast on a 9am opening, non EMH day:

1. I have read multiple accounts of people getting to ride Mine Train before 9am. My DD is too little for that but I was hoping we could ride Peter Pan before 9. Does anyone know if any other rides are open early besides Mine Train?

2. I have another BOG reservation for our last day of vacation, which happens to be an Early Morning Magic day. I assume we wouldn't be able to do anything outside of BOG that morning?

Thanks for any input (or tips!)

Generally nothing will be open before 9 except maybe the shops on main street. The advantage of the early breakfast is to get in line before the park opens to regular guests. You still won't be able to ride until 9am. The CMs may let people on mine train before 9 but its not guaranteed and I haven't heard of anyone getting on peter pan before 9.

To answer your 2nd question, you are correct. There is little advantage to a PPO breakfast because people would have already been in the lines by the time your done with breakfast but lines are still a lot shorter than they'll be once the park opens for all guests.

That clears up some things for me too. So when a park opens at 9am on a non-EMH day, what time is the first seating at BOG?

IMHO...

1) I wouldn't expect to be let on much before 9AM, but you'll be right there in a prime spot to beat the RD crowd and be amongst the first on (assuming you're done with breakfast and out before 9AM).

2) Your experience will be generally the same as a non-EMM day, there just will be EMM people who can ride before you can.

On a non-EMH morning we were let onto Mine Train, through the FP entrance, around 8:50 in June. I saw some families circle around to ride it again. We got in line for Peter Pan. PP did not open until 9 and we went through the regular line.

I've been to Early Morning Magic several times and currently have a PPO ADR at Be Our Guest on an EMM morning for my next trip. EMM should only affect the time you're allowed onto 7DMT and Peter Pan. The actual EMM attendees are very few in number and will have, for the most part, headed off to other parts of the park by then. They won't be riding Peter Pan or Mine Train once the park opens. If you're out of BoG by 8:50 or so you'll have a head start on the rope drop crowds and there probably won't be any EMM people in line.

We had 2 PPO breakfasts at 8am at BOG.

First was on an non emm, we were on Mine Train before 8.50 and rode it twice.
Second was on a emm, we were led round to Mine Train about 8.50 and slowly walked through the main line and were on just before 9am.

You could walk as far as you can to Peter Pan and be first on.

There IS one advantage to a PPO on an EMM day: you're guaranteed that your PPO will remain a PPO since they can't change the hours and open the park earlier.

When we had a BOG PPO, we were held at the 7DM line until the park opened. We got in line probably around 8:40(?). There was one or two families ahead of us in line. The CM said they could not let us on until the park opened. Once we got on, we got one ride in before the rope drop masses arrived. We probably could have hopped in line again with short wait but we decided to go over to Peter Pan to take adv of the short wait there. It's definitely worth it though because it's a good way to get onto 7DM or Peter Pan with the first without having to deal with the rope drop mayhem or use a Fast Pass. I have heard of folks who had a BOG PPO but it didn't help with 7DM because it happened to be on a day when they decided to drop the rope early.

We (2) have an 8:15 am BOG 8/26 (Saturday). No-EMM morning, park opens 9am. If we preorder will we be done in time to beat the RD crowd at 7DMT?

Get there early, they will let you back at around 7:45 and you can get checked in at BOG right away. They won't make you wait until 8:15.

Get to the park about 7:30. Our experience in February was that they let everyone with PPO at about 7:50. If you've pre-ordered, you head through the preorder line. I cannot remember if we had to check in up front...I think so. But I know we went right through. Our time was 8:10 in February, and we were seated and waiting for food by then. We easily made it out by 9 am, and even with an extended bathroom break, made it to PP with only a 30 minute wait.

If you can eat and be out before 8:45 or so, you'll be fine. You can also be there before your 8:15 ADR. They'll let you in, and you can eat (and be done) earlier.

We had an 8:05 ADR last week as well as an 8:25, and we were the second family to arrive at BOG with the 8:25 ADR (we arrived at the park about 7:40 and were let in at 7:45). We ate, left about 8:30 and rode 7DMT 4 times before the park opened!! The 8:05 ADR morning, they began running the ride at about 8:55, but we were still able to get 2 rides in. As we we got off the fist time, the park opening show was just ending. So we ran back to the entrance, and were able to ride one more time just before the crowds arrived. Another morning, we had an 8:00 ADR at CRT. We were out of there by 8:50 and headed over to 7DMT. That morning they were not running the ride early. They only let those with PPO breakfasts line up early. The first ride of the day was immediately after the morning show. So it varies a lot. All three mornings we went directly from 7DMT to PP and got on with no wait (had to walk thru the main entrance, but we walked directly through and onto the ride).

I have emm booked and just saw an 8:10 bog open. Decisions decisions.

If you've already decided to spend the money for EMM, I'd do that instead of the PPO. PPOs give you the potential for multiple rides in Fantasyland; EMM guarantees it.

I've done BOG PPO twice. BOG PPO will not get you onto Peter Pan early, but you will be able to be first in line, if you head straight there. We've done BOG PPO, then 7DMT, then 7DMT again, then Peter Pan, and still not had a wait for Peter Pan. So going straight there from BOG PPO (assuming you leave BOG before rope drop- be outside no later than 8:45), will guarantee no wait for Peter Pan.
