Be Our Guest - menu modification?

Looking over the menu for lunch.... has anyone ever successfully substituted off the children's menu?

My oldest son would love the pork, but would want regular mashed potatoes, not sweet?

My youngest son (love him to bits) is beyond fussy, so the only thing I could order for him is fries, unless they have pasta that is regular (not whole wheat). He's a good sport though and would eat before or after we did. I just hate making him sit while we eat. (He's 10).

Yes, no problem subbing regular mashed potatoes for the sweet potatoes on the child's braised pork.

I've done it at lunch a couple of times in the past.

All my DD eats at BOG is a side of fries and sometimes a cupcake. That'll be no problem, either!
