Am I mistaken or have some changes recently been made to the menu? Specifically, looking at the Shrimp and Scallops meal. I thought it had changed to a pasta dish, but it doesn't say anything about pasta now. And for breakfast, the open faced bacon and egg sandwich is served on a croissant. Wasn't it always a baguette? Are these recent changes? If not, has anyone had these two items that can give feedback on them? They were going to be my choices for breakfast and dinner next month.

It is a pasta. My husband had it when we were there a little over a week ago. It was his favorite meal of the entire week. He's a seafood guy so that's saying a lot. I had a few bites, and it was pretty great. We also did breakfast, did not have the open faced sandwich, but I wish I had, it looked much better than the Gaston's feast we had.

I had the shrimp with pasta. I thought the sauce tasted a little too garlicky for me.

I gave most of the pasta to my ds and he thought it was fine. The seafood was good and the portion was a good size.

Thanks for sharing the picture. I was between this and the braised beef, but I think I will be going with this.
I had the beef and my husband had the pasta in December and they were both good, but I think I'll try the pasta next time even though I love a good braised beef!

I actually miss the scallops and shrimp in the puffed pastry, I had this dish back in August when they switched it over to the pasta
(it was really new when we were there), and even though it was good, I missed the puffed pastry a lot.

The shrimp and scallop puffed pastry was my favorite meal from our last trip. Sad it's gone. I'll be going with the braised beef this coming trip.

We liked this too :(

I was there last week and had the same experience. EASILY the best thing I ate all week. Maybe one of the best dishes I've ever had. The shrimp & scallops are tossed with the fresh pasta in a lobster sauce. My pasta was delicious and the sauce had big chunks of fresh lobster in it.

Wow, that's A LOT smaller than it used to be.
I don't think it's any smaller... just compressed, but it has the top and bottom as opposed to just the bottom. Still two eggs, two slices of tomato. I don't see any bacon on it but assume it is under there?

Looks like field greens rather than arugula now too.....in my opinion it was the arugula that made the sandwich!!!! I'll bet it is still good on a croissant, but I too think I would prefer the baguette. A croissant is so much softer and less 'toasty'. It was always nice to have table service quality items on the counter service menu, but it seems to be leaning more counter service-y these days. This sandwich was one of my favorite meals in 2015.

I am terribly sad that the puff pastry egg dish that used to be on the breakfast menu now seems to be gone. It was my favorite breakfast in all over WDW. I am now trying to decide if we should keep our 8:05 ADR at BoG in July. Nothing seems as appealing to me as that puff pastry egg dish. Does anyone have any breakfast favorites they would recommend?
