Be our guest lunch without reservation

Hey!
We are going to Magic kingdom on the 16th and are taking my parents for there first ever Disney trip. It didn’t dawn on me until last night but I think they would love lunch at be our guest as the dinner menu really isn’t for them. My question is can we go first thing that morning and try and reserve a spot or are we out of luck since the online reservations are no longer available?

Keep trying to get an online reservation. The day before you will see some possible openings as people cancel. Might be worth checking out the touring plans reservation finder too.

Keep trying and even try breaking your group up into smaller units (table of 2, table of 1, etc.) around the same times. As long as you all get into the restaurant, you can find a table together at lunch. I would keep trying even up to the day of your visit. People cancel all of the time. If that fails, yes, stop by the restaurant and ask. Be prepared for a no, but, you could get lucky! We've walked up as a party of 2 twice and got in, but we were fully prepared to be turned away. One word of caution, if you do go as a walk-up, you cannot pre-order, so just prepare yourself for a potentially long line to order your food.

Unless it is a very quiet day, walk up rarely works at BoG. Keep checking as they do become available.

You can probably get a reservation when it gets closer. Sign up for the touringplans reservation finder now. Keep checking yourself though. Once its just a few days out, check every few minutes when you can while watching tv, reading, whatever. The day before, particularly the evening, is when most cancellations occur due to the midnight deadline for the no show fee so check constantly the evening before.
