Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

We got a lunch fastpass last Nov. through the weblink previously posted. Now when I try to log on to get a date for this October it only asks for my email and password, not a reservation #. It then recognizes me but only has available dates for the current week. How can I get it to recognize my reservation so it will know the dates to offer me?

Someone on another thread posted that a CM had told them that have restricted the dates to your checkin date. So if that's the case then that explains why nobody is able to get passed the 7th. Bet those that checkin on the 8th will suddenly have luck ON the 8th.

Wait, so you're saying that if I don't check in until July 6th, and want a FP ressie for July 9th, I won't be able to book it until my check-in day - July 6th, just 3 days before?

Quite possibly. That's what I read. It was on a July BOG FP thread. If I recall correctly though whereby there some who where advised to ask about the FP for BOG at checkin after having issues securing one online?

Honestly I hope this is false.

I was in the same boat with a reservation from last Oct. I never found a fix, but as for a workaround ... for my upcoming trip I used a MDE login from a different member of this year's trip. It then asked for a reservation # so I could input this year's reservation and then it opened up the reservation window for all the people on this year's reservation.

So, I would recommend using another current reservation party member use their MDE login on the Be Our Guest site. If no one else on current reservation has an MDE account, they should create one and then follow up for the BOG reservation.

Tried to log into be our guest fast pass site and got an error message this morning-

"We apologize for any inconvenience. Please stop by the Magic Kingdom® Service Center as soon as you arrive to the park for assistance logging in to the website or selecting an arrival window and preordering your meal."

Hmm, wonder what is up...

I was able to log in as usual. Tried for July 9th and still nothing.
Beginning to wonder if they are doing away with it... :confused3

Oh no! I hope they're not doing away with it. This is one of the few things my daughter requested we do.

It looks like they're adding a new restriction, and that the post HisMinnie is referring to is right. It doesn't matter to me that I can "only" make BOG FP+ after I arrive, as long as I can do it. 60 days, 30 days, 2 days, day of...who cares as long as the wait is eliminated? :confused3 :thumbsup2

Can anyone post about any successes (or failures!) they've had after their check in date getting one? My check-in day is also my MK day so I'm afraid this may not work out for me!

The only reason that I am nervous that they are doing away with this is due to the couple of posts that I have seen from guests that actually got the invitation in the mail and they still aren't able to book their BOG FP :sad2:

Anyone on here that got the invitation for a trip after July 7th that HAS been able to book their FP+ for BOG? popcorn::

We got an invitation on June 8th. Still not able to book past the July 7th. I could have booked for July 6th or 7th but I didn't want either of those days. When I called Disney they pretty much said there was nothing they could do because it was still in "testing" and the imagineers are in charge of it :confused3

I got an invitation June 10 or thereabouts... I still can't get a spot for July 9th.

I agree, as long as we can book it, then that would be great. I am still unable to log into the site, same error message. Our check in date is 7.27.14. I agree that perhaps there are more restrictions now regarding the ability to book.

Nothing is available yet past July 7, and it only allows you to see the first 7 days of your stay.

Thanks for posting. I was just coming over here to ask those 2 questions regarding our August trip.

Looking forward to the updates here. Interested to have lunch here again. Thanks!

We just reached our 60-day window, and I was assuming (not having looked into it much) that I just needed to go to the website and book for BoG Lunch. Seems not.

The site doesn't prompt me for a reservation number after I've logged in, but it does know about the reservation attached to my MDE account, and it then allows me to chose any of the first seven days of our resort stay (21 August onward) but every day shows as "No Availability please choose another day".

From reading this thread, it sounds like this isn't actually indicating that all of these days are already sold out, and everyone else has the same problems. Or am I doing something wrong?

You did it right and are correct. In your case, "No Availability please choose another day" indicates those dates are not yet open. In my case, I see that message on July 3 & 4th, indicating those days are in fact sold out. (This message needs to be changed up to reflect what we are looking at.)

The promising note I take from what you just posted is that someone in Disney IT has recently been making modifications to the system if it is automatically pulling up your reservation number. It was not working this way before and shows it is being developed further :)

While on the site today I went to my reservations and with the mouse over the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations section I right clicked and chose "inspect element". Our resort reservation number was right there so I didn't have to do a search! I wrote it down and will be ready to go when we are much closer to our dates!

going back to see the Mouse sooner then expected!

OMG! Thank you! I had tried everything else to find my numerical reservation number to no avail. :confused3 But this worked! Thank you, thank you! :worship:

I realize that I am unable to book a FP+ yet as our dates are too far out. Hopefully the one and only date that works for us will be released. I am really looking forward to trying BOG for lunch. :)

If this is what they are doing then I wish they would just say so instead of people wasting time and checking the site or not trying when they get there.
