Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

Got it! Thank you to all of the people that said 27 days at 2am (11pm pt). I took a photo of my computer screen with my phone. It feels weird that there's no confirmation of any kind, but I have the photo as proof. :cool1: I've been worried about this for over 6 months! So glad it's done! Really wonder what happens with people who don't read these boards! :confused3Crazy.:crazy2:

Congrats! Other people who don't read these boards are the ones at WDW saying: Why can't we eat at Be Our Guest for lunch? or Why are those folks passing us in line with those FastPass things? It's not fair!

Well, the time is not ideal, but I did manage to snag a reservation. Thanks guys! Back to bed for me!

Did you remember to keep pressing the browser Refresh button on the meal-time offer page to get new offers? Might take five or six goes, but usually you can find what you want.

Does this FP work just like the regular FP? We want to have lunch on 12/22 our last full day in MK- but we actually check in on 12/16/14- so do which day I count 27 days back from?? I want to be sure I get this right- thanks so much in advance.

You count 27 days to the actual date you want to have the lunch. Your check in date doesn't count, unless that is also the day you want the FP lunch ;)

Am I the only dork who completely mis-counted and woke up at 2:30 am only to find out I was a day early??? LOL!! At least I know what to do again tonight...

Congrats to everyone who got their FPs!

Exactly, the system only give a few options even though there may be dozens. I had to keep retrying to get the time I wanted. I was also working with two different reservations. It took me about 30 minutes to get the to overlap. But later in the day I tried again and got them to match 100%.

It looks like you can go back in at anytime to view your FP time and make your selections if you want. I wonder how far in advance you can modify / make selections. Can you do it while waiting in line at 8:30 that morning?

We're making a impromptu trip for our anniversary and have not found an opening for the BOG lunch FP. We're heading to WDW in two weeks. Is it likely that someone would cancel before our arrival or can we get a FP when at park (we are staying on property)
Thank you for your help!

From what I have read, the better choice is to book and make your dining selections in advance. My question is: If you don't get a confirmation, and it doesn't show up in MDE, and going to the fp site and checking can be spotty, how are you able to modify your dining selections, or how do you switch from a simple BOG fp to an expedited lunch at a later date?
I read the whole post #1, but if the answer is there, I don't understand it.

You log back into the beourguestlunch site and update your existing reservation with a lunch order.

So I've been looking from time to time, and the web site doesn't ever show my current trip info. I was there in May with my son and it shows us from May, but doesn't show our upcoming trip next month with the entire family. How can you update the trip info? I don't see anywhere you can do that.

I know some people have had luck with re-setting the BOG FP website to show current reservation dates by creating a new MDE account with a different email......can someone walk me through this?

I've created two new MDE accounts (a second one in my name and one in my DH's name as we are only two on current reservation), and neither worked!

I used different emails for each, but of course the home address and names were already in the MDE system. When I went to enter them on the BOG website (along with correct reservation number for current reservation), I was told guest already registered and taken back to previous, cancelled trip dates. What am I doing wrong???? :confused3

I'm really confused and hoping someone can help answer. I have two reservations and made a fast pass reservation today utilizing my email linked. We have two different reservations so do I need to link the other reservation number or not. The one I used was for our one night stay. The other for our 6 night stay I didn't use.

If you are all set with the reservation you made, you're done. You just need one valid reservation number to show you're an onsite resort guest.

Theoretically with a second reservation number you could try for a second BOG FP+ -- you can only have one BOG FP+ at a time, per reservation number -- but you would also need to use a new or different user name to log into the site.

So basically just show up then right?

Would there be a reason why my name is listed twice instead of my husband's name? The reservation is in his name but the Disney account is my name.

My trip starts November 20th, and we are doing a split stay, in 3 places. I could see neither our arrival date nor a place to enter our reservation numbers when I logged into the BOG lunch system. So, I created a new My Disney Experience account for the BOG system, and it finally gave me the chance to enter in my reservation number. But, still, it won't show me past November 2nd, although it clearly accepted my resort reservation, and showed the members of my travelling party.

What am I doing wrong?

We do have annual pass vouchers, if that makes any difference.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

I just got back the other day from DisneyWorld- the day I arrived I asked about fastpasses for Be Our Guest at the concierge desk- the cast member tried and got the same answer I did - for the past month! No fastpasses are available. She called over a manager- no luck.....so off I went to the MK- and to Be Our Guest to see what's going on- Here again, the cast members have no clue! All she said was to come by early the next day and see what is said. Well, we did come back a few days later- we checked Be Our Guest & to our surprise, they were handing out paper fastpasses! We got a fastpass that said 12:05-12:20- we had to wait in a short line when we got back- but were happy to get in.
So- all I can say is to go there in person and see if they are doing that every day- still can't figure out what's going on with their website. I even asked about some people getting invitations- they had no clue! Lots of luck!
